I love meat too much and my body would react to me not getting meat if i dont have it. low energy

It's been six years for me, so yeah.

I have gone 12 years so far so yes I can.

Yes...vegetarian for a year now vegan.

I think everyone CAN, physically.
Its what you choose =)

Yep, 4 years now. I don't even care anymore- you could wave bacon under my nose (I used to love bacon) and I wouldn't mind.

all my life veggie, 31 years vegan two weeks. actually it is really simple. I wish i was vegan earlier!

yes, because you could eat protein.

Doing something is only as hard as one makes it out to be.

If one really doesn't want to do something - very easy to do.

Its been ten months for me. Hopefully a year in may.

I've been vegetarian for two years. I don't get tired, and I don't even think about meat anymore, i don't even think of it as ' Meat, FOOD I CANNOT EAT' I just think of it as, some random thing that doesn't appeal to me. Also, it really is a state of mind. Just like drugs and smoking and alcohol. You only get tired if you don't take care of your body, as with any other dietary change! Take your vitamins, balance your diet out. exercise ! I cannot stress how important this is.
Lazy America.

Anyone CAN. Many won't though.

This is funny because I will have been vegetarian for a year and a month at the end of this month! I have no intention of eating meat ever again let alone this month. It was easy, too, much easier then I expected.

Longest I went was about 2.5 years and then I started eating meat again.

Use to be a big meat eater - breakfast, lunch and dinner but now I hardly eat it, maybe 2 - 3 times a month (and normally regret it when I do).

Had fish & chips last week and really enjoyed the fish.

Yesterday, I got a craving for chicken. Purchased half a roast chicken for $12, took 5 mouthfuls and threw it out, as hated the feel / texture in my mouth. What a waste of $12, but could not bring myself to eat it, as almost gagging.

It seems, the less you eat, the less you want.

.

A year was my original goal. I became vegetarian and everyone told me I couldn't do it, so I swore I'd last a year whether I liked it or not, just to show them. That was 21 years ago, so I guess I can go a whole year or a whole couple of decades without meat.

No, I can't use a grill in the summertime and not barbecue something....

I've gone for about seven years without meat and seem to be doin' fine.

Sure. I haven't had any dead animal flesh in many years...and I feel much better for it!

I do all the time! If I really think about it, meat is kinda gross - but that's just me.

Definitely, and I have.

The sixth year is even easier than the first.

That's an odd question to ask on a board used mainly by vegetarians and vegans.

I've gone for decades without meat, it's easy if it's what you want to do.

I haven't had meat for a long time now, I thought it would be hard (especially chicken and turkey) but it was surprisingly very easy. Anybody could do it, but they just don't want to or don't care.

I would like to, but so far I haven't been able to.
wish me well.

8 years without meat, fish, eggs.. last couple without diary (occasional pizza once in a couple of month..)

and it is not something i can do.. it is something, that is very natural.

for me question would be:
Do you think that you can go an whole year or month with meat?
and answer - NO WAY.

I've gone three years without it. And I have no desire for it.
And i'm healthier than ever :)

So, yes you can.

yes, I can go 5 years without any meat, and I can go 1 year without any animal products what so ever :) I'm vegan

yeah its been 6 years for me!

no as I am to used to it

take a look around no good looking vegetarians or vegans you need meat
