What do vegans not eat?!
Since someone answered that we eat only fruits and vegetables, I'd add that we also eat grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, herbs, spices and everything made from them.
Answers: We don't eat anything animal derived. No meat (which, as it does for vegetarians, includes fish and seafood.) No dairy products or eggs. No honey. No gelatin, lard, beef tallow, beef or chicken stock, whey, casein, etc.

It goes deeper than that for some really serious veggies... A friend of mine quit eating McDonald's french fries after he learned that they put a beef flavoring in the mix.
He eats NO animal product of any kind. His kitchen even has separate cooking utensils, so his food is not contaminated by meat products.
No animal products whatsoever, no honey. It's amazing how many products have dairy and eggs....some sort of animal product...and they go by so many different names.
Vegan isn't a diet only, it is a lifestyle, no leather, down filled, silk, fur.
And McDonalds has dairy in their fries...how weird?

Nothing made with or by animals. They will not wear animal derived materials either, silk, wool, etcetera. And nothing tested on animals.
