Do you often clean your ears with Qtips???!
Answers: I purposely don't clean my ears for weeks so that when it comes time to clean them, I can enjoy looking at the wax buildup on the Qtips. Do you enjoy doing that as well???

nah i have always been told to not stick anything in your ears smaller than your elbow. I just use olive oil. god im missing out on looking at wax,:-P hmmmmm

HAHA! i don't do that. ever since i got an ear infection i was told NOT to because it was shoving the infection further in my ear! what i have to do is clean it out with water and hydrogen peroxide with a syringe! it's SUPER gross.

uh.. no.. haha.. using qtips during ear cleaning is bad for you and for others according to EENT doctors because you are just pushing the ear wax and debris farther into your ear cannal. Tsk Tsk. Ear wax is specially made by our ears to help keep foreign debris from entering our ear. It clears off or moves out of your ear by itself so you dont have to push qtips in your ear. you just have to clean the outsides.

Healthy ears should be left alone to clean themselves - earwax is a self-regulating mechanism for doing just that. Cotton buds are dangerous and should be avoided. You should always avoid getting water in your ears as well - especially greywater from baths as it is a breeding ground for germs, even if it's your own bathwater.
