Could you please recommend a good Vegetarian Wine?!
Answers: White, Red or Rose, from any off licence or supermarket in UK, thanks
Take a look at this site; as you see, no need to restrict yourself to white wine as there's a huge choice.

The Co-Op is another supermarket whose own wine labels always say if they're suitable for vegetarians and/or vegans.
For those who don't know what makes many wines unsuitable for veg*ns, in order to improve a wine's clarity it usually undergoes a process called fining.
Fining agents that are used in the production of wine include:
bentonite, gelatine, casein, chitosan, enolophin/kieselsol,
polyclar, egg albumen, isinglass, carbon, sparkolloid
Of these, the following are derived from animal products:
Gelatine - 100% animal derived gelatine. Produced from cooking / controlled partial hydrolysis of fibrous insoluble protein collagen found in bone, tendons, skin and connective tissue.
Albumen - egg whites, usually dried or frozen.
Casein - sodium or potassium caseinate which is the primary protein in milk. Both are obtained through the precipitating action of acid on milk.
Isinglass - made up of collagen fibres derived from the air bladders of certain fish, usually the swim bladder of the sturgeon.
Chitosan - derived from the shells of shellfish and crustaceans.
White wines are your best bet. Here are some links:

Most Tesco stores say on the card if it is vegetarian but I think it is the only shop that does.
i find it really frustrating when all those people who say that all wine is vegetarian don't have thier email enabled, they will no-doubt answer in exactly the same way next time and never learn.
The way they try to make a joke out of a perfectly reasonable question makes them look daft.
lo has all the details they need.
I find co-op, tesco and Asda ( UK ) have quite a few marked up. There are mail order places that specify which wines are veggie. Sainsbury's are particularly BAD at marking up - they just mark up the organic wines. I'm sure many others are veggie but they would rather veggies spend more money.
Generally its "own brand" that gets marked up, Think about the main grape growing regions - France, Aus, Cal, Spain, Eastern Europe....hardly veggie frendly places.
You could try making your own, its very little effort - we have 400 bottles in our cellar, all vegan. And i doubt you will find a nicer wine at 40p per bottle.

i buy my wine from here find it difficult to buy with confidence in shops
before you buy your wine look at the label and if it say,s it is then it is just means they do not use isinglass or other methods of fining the wine that involve using parts of animals
Could you please tell me a wine that has meat in it?
Do you mean a wine that is complementary to a veggie dish?

Sorry, but Yahoo! Answers has temporarily restricted my ability because of false report submitted by some hateful wench.
Question. In spanish, you call an unmarried woman a se?orita and you call a married woman a se?ora. What do you call a woman that is divorced?
Please answer my question here until I get a chance to defend myself in small claims court against the lies told against me.
No wines contain any meat products
What???? Are you having a laugh??? Vegetarian wine? What's in a non-vegetarian wine then???? Lard? Beef dripping? Pork Chops??
How could you make a wine that is not vegetarian? You crush grapes, you ferment them, you add preservative, you bottle it. Didn't see the side of beef get added to the mix there! Maybe the odd fly but thats about it.
