No. I try to eat pretty balanced, so I should be getting all my nutrients. I'm a lacto-vegetarian, so I get my B12 from milk.

Those who need vitamins usually don't eat very healthy at all (probably mostly eat junk food) or are uneducated that a vegetarian diet meets all of your nutritional requirements.

i rarely take vitamins
i love not having to deal with messy bloody meat

nope, and im really healthy! :)

yes i do , i get very sick if i don't

If you're taking pills, you're on the wrong track. Unless you're pregnant or have a medical condition, you get everything you need from a veggie diet. I'm no nutritionist, but basically meat eaters get a variety of types of protein from meat alone, whereas veggies have to get different proteins from different food groups (vegetables, pulses, nuts, dairy). Aside from that, there's really no drawback to being a veggie and the rules are the same as for meat eaters - eat a varied diet and get, as a minimum, your five portions of fruit or veg.

You should really try your best to get all your nutrients from actual food. A wide variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains, seeds, etc will give you everything you need to be healthy.

A simple multivitamin is all you will really need(unless you are eating nothing but junk food all day. Multivitamin should be used as a "just in case", many people rely on pills far too much to make their diet nutritionally complete.

I personally do not take any multivitamins, I simply eat healthy.

I do take a vegan multivitamin with iron. I also drink Emergen-C packets for a little midafternoon boost.

I don't take protein pills because I eat actual food. Unless you're on a junk food diet or not eating enough food, you're getting enough protein.

Some plant foods are low in one kind of amino acid whereas other plant foods are higher in that amino acid. By eating a well balanced diet that contains a variety of foods you can get all the amino acids you require. Previously it was thought that for vegetarians to obtain enough protein different plant foods had to be combined in the same meal in order to balance the amounts of amino acids, known as protein combining. Now it's believed that this isn't necessary and that eating a range of plant foods over the course of a day will provide all the essential amino acids the body needs.

I'm vegetarian, and I don't have a problem with iron.

While I try to maintain a pretty balanced vegan diet, I do take a few daily vitamin supplements.

I like VegLife's Vegan One Multiple, mainly because I like the fact that I only have to take ONE vitamin instead of 6 or even as many as 9 per day, like a few other vegan brands I've come across. I also take that brand of calcium and iron supplements.
