If you are a vegan can you still have cheesecake?!

Question: if not i dont think i can do it

Answers: if not i dont think i can do it

no. not even jello lol. is there anyone out there that can claim to use NO animal products ever?

Nope.

Cheesecake is made with cream cheese which is a dairy product. And even though being milked is good for cows, vegans think it's wrong and therefore they don't consume dairy products.

no

NO!! Its made out of animal products.

cheesecake is made from eggs ang cheese cream which is made from milk. You are just vegetarian if you have milk and eggs.

so be a vegetarian and eat your cheesecake

no beacasue cheese cake has cheese in it durrr... lol

but seriously no vegans cannot eat meat dairy products
basicaly things that have come from other animals.

No. But you might be able to come up with a vegan cheesecake like recipe using tofu instead of cheese.

Sure you can there is vegan cream cheese.

I'm vegan and severely allergic to dairy and make myself cheesecake frequently

Yes, there are vegan cheesecake recipes available. Sarah Kramer has one in one of her books (but I don't know which.)

It depends on your views on milk. If you think milk = exploitation of cattle, then no. If you have no problem with milk products, then yes.

BTW, milking is good for cows. They really do love getting milked. And, most dairys take really good care of their animals. Better care than some take care of their dogs. If you are really concerned about the treatment of the animals at a partciular facility, do research, ask for a tour, inform yourself before you go on a tirade about how animals are expoitated and abused.

Nope. they don't call it cheescake for nothin'!

i agree with you,
DON'T MESS WITH MY CHEESECAKE !!!!!!

Yep! The vegan version, which in my opinion is way better! There is a vast variety of food that does not contain animals, and there is practically a vegan substitute for every animal product!

People will tell you there are vegan alternatives that taste yummy, but you have to go out of your way for those, what really sucks is it is at a party or catered event or something and it looks so damn tasty and i cant eat it. Dairy was much harder than giving up meat.

I should end with something motivational. Umm, it isnt the worst thing in the world to go almost vegan and just grab a bite off someone else's cheesecake every once in a while. It is better than doing nothing.

btw your avatar reminds me of count on sesame street.

My wife isn't vegan but she says that you can't tell the diff between cream cheese and Tofutti.

Vegan cheezcake is easy.

I don't know I just stopped in to say hi. Hello Irish Man how ya doing? Love, honey

You can have a vegan cheesecake!

I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it looks really yummy. I got it from PETA's veg cooking e-newsletter.

1 cup sugar
Juice of 1 whole lemon
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of vanilla
Graham-cracker crust
Fresh raspberries or canned cherry pie filling

?Preheat the oven to 350°F.
?In a blender or food processor, thoroughly blend together the nondairy cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla and pour into the graham-cracker crust.
?Bake for 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
?Allow to cool to room temperature and then cover the top of the cheesecake with fresh fruit or pie filling and chill in the refrigerator until firm, several hours or overnight.
