Follow on question to would you eat vegie food at a non vegie restraunt. If the place was marketed at a cross?!
If the staff were very vegan savvy and vegetarian savvy and iff it was marketed as such - would you eat there??

Answers: setion of the community. If the kitchen had three seperate cooking areas - vegan stove, vegetarian stove and meat dish stove ( its not that hard to do)

My suggestion is to note one of the most serious mistakes you can make starting a buisness is to have high expenses. Those tiny little joints often make a fortune.
So, I'd say use different cooking pans and one oven. It isn't gimmicks like three ovens that make a restaurant popular for the long term. Make what the customer is buying and forget your own preferences. Locate yourself very near other restaurants but make yours different and better including the service. The service for a veggie restaurant might be black pants or skirt with white loose shirt and everybody has a relaxed attitude. It's the subtlties of attitude and atmosphere that does it I think....but what do I know lol.
I remember seeing this documentary about a guy that did extensive research and made a thousand page book on what makes casinos profitable and he said number one, that the customers feel secure and unstressed in the environment or something like that, just like home. The book sells for 40 thousand bucks.
separate utensils, handling etc.. i hate when they cut veggie pizza with the same cutters as meat pizza.. small things like that to prevent contamination!
I used to work in a restaurant and we always handled meat stuffs separate from the veggies thats health code. oh I used to work in pizza too our cutting utencils got placed in those hot water cleaning baths that clean them before each use. thats health code I thought too.
Sure I would. I think being a crazy strict Vegan is stupid. And also! If you are at a restraunt and they serve you meat and otherwise if you did not eat the meat the meat would be thrown away, then why not eat it so that the animal did not die for nothing. Isn't it better to let an animal nourish you than to throw it into a garbage can? I am a Vegan and I believe that animals should have the same rights as humans. It's the same thing as donating your body to science. Wouldn't you rather your organs go into saving another human's life than just having your body rott in the ground?
