Welfarists or Radicals, which does PETA fall under?!
I've been hearing that PETA doesn't do enough.
Why do you think so?
Answers: I've been hearing that PETA is a terrorist group.

They are radicals, they try and try but don't have any clue as to what they are doing. They have millions of dollars but spend it on turning people off instead of turning them on to anything.
PeTA is not a terrorist group.
Not even ALF activities are terrorism.
If no one intends on causing physical harm to anyone, it isn't terrorism.
That's why the US is so far behind and is being run by crooks, because everyone is afraid of the police and won't destroy the corporations that make life miserable. If someone does the right thing and it breaks the law, it is labeled terrorism. They wouldn't want people to start obeying their consciences, would they?

I'm glad that Mikey is being sarcastic.
welfarists for sure.
The still believe in exercizing human domination over the animal kingdom by "owning" other creatures. Even more so, the want to forceful subject these owned creatures to permanent, painful sexual mutilation which causes the animals the torement of never being able to carry out their innate functions, like that of reproduction.
Yeah that doesn't seem to compassionate.
Radical Welfarists.
how about ignorant war mongers?
"Lonely souls who care more about animals than humans"...how about that one?
I believe a lot of people answering these questions are a little confused about what PETA does and represents. No, they do not have sex with animals and do not feel they need to dominate them at all... that wouldn't even make sense, if you had ever done any research. I am not a member of PETA, but I DO care about animals more so than people. Why would anyone consider this a bad thing? Humans are at the top of the food chain and we do nothing but destroy nature, the thing that gives us life... the thing we seem to disrespect the most. So, yes, though they may be radicals they are doing all they believe is in their power to help. Go to the website and check it out. Do some more research in other places. "If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos."-E.O. Wilson [oh, and on a side note: people should not take what they have seen on "South Park" as a fact on any subject matter]
Peta is not a terrorist group and is doing a lot so far...seens many people prefer not to understand and see the reality on how animals are used by humans to make our life/lifestyle better..... if you think im wrong ...take a look at the dogs and cats fur farms in China or how sheeps suffer to make Uggs boots you love so much or see how animals are experiment on to provide you a better taste on soda,or candy or any make up or beauty supplies......or your pets favorite food that experiment in other dogs and cats to provide you a better product and many other reasons I can give you ...why I stand by Peta...www.peta.org

Spaying and neutering is important. There are so many homeless cats and dogs!
I don't think they are radical at all. If they are turning people to healthier lifestyles and more ethical choices, I don't see how they can be described as terrorists (although the government may feel differently.) I don't follow all of their events and "doings." But their hearts are in the right place.
PETA lies to people a lot , it also euthanizes a very large number of the healthy animals it rescues. It means well, but uses some very dodgy tactics to get things done.
Some PeTA facts
1) PETA president and co-founder Ingrid Newkirk has described her group’s overall goal as “total animal liberation.” This means no meat, no milk, no zoos, no circuses, no wool, no leather, no hunting, no fishing, and no pets (not even seeing-eye dogs). PETA is also against all medical research that requires the use of animals.
2) Despite its constant moralizing about the “unethical” treatment of animals by restaurant owners, grocers, farmers, scientists, anglers, and countless other Americans, PETA has killed over 14,400 dogs and cats at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters. During 2005, PETA put to death over 90 percent of the animals it collected from members of the public.
3) PETA has given tens of thousands of dollars to convicted arsonists and other violent criminals. This includes a 2001 donation of $1,500 to the North American Earth Liberation Front (ELF), an FBI-certified “domestic terrorist” group responsible for dozens of firebombs and death threats. During the 1990s, PETA paid $70,200 to an Animal Liberation Front (ALF) activist convicted of burning down a Michigan State University research laboratory. In his sentencing recommendation, a federal prosecutor implicated PETA president Ingrid Newkirk in that crime. And PETA vegetarian campaign coordinator Bruce Friedrich told an animal rights convention in 2001 that “blowing stuff up and smashing windows” is “a great way to bring about animal liberation.”
4) PETA activists regularly target children as young as six years old with anti-meat and anti-milk propaganda, often waiting outside their schools to intercept them as they walk to and from class-without notifying parents. One piece of kid-targeted PETA literature tells small children: “Your Mommy Kills Animals!” PETA brags that its messages reach over 2 million children every year, including thousands reached by e-mail without the permission of their parents. One PETA vice president told the Fox News Channel’s audience: “Our campaigns are always geared towards children, and they always will be.”
5) PETA has used a related organization, the PETA Foundation, to fund the misnamed Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a deceptive animal rights group that promotes itself as an unbiased source of medical and nutritional information. PCRM's president also serves as president of the PETA Foundation.
6) PETA runs campaigns seemingly calculated to offend religious believers. One entire PETA website is devoted to the claim-despite ample evidence to the contrary-that Jesus Christ was a vegetarian. PETA holds protests at houses of worship, even suing one church that tried to protect its members from Sunday-morning harassment. Its billboards taunt Christians with the message that hogs “died for their sins.” PETA insists, contrary to centuries of rabbinical teaching, that the Jewish ritual of kosher slaughter shouldn't be allowed. And its infamous “Holocaust on Your Plate” campaign crassly compares the Jewish victims of Nazi genocide with farm animals.
7) PETA has repeatedly attacked research foundations like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, because they support animal-based research that might uncover cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.”
8) They knowingly lie on press releases. One researcher looking into homosexuality in rams was stunned to read that he'd injected hormones and stuck electrodes into sheeps brains. They'd actually only given pregnant ewes a hormone blocking drug. PETA also said he was looking for a cure for hohsexuality to rile up the gay population, when he had no such intention.
