Vegs, would you consider taking fish oil suppliments?!
Thanks.
Answers: why/why not?
Thanks.
If someone takes fish oil, they aren't vegetarian.
Try flax oil with DHA.
I'm not one, but I can't see them doing them, especially if it comes from a living animal--well, that was once alive anyway.
There is no need. Flax seed oil is nutritionally comparable.
No, I wouldn't. Why? Because I don't eat fish so why would I eat their oil. Flax oil capsules give the same benefit.
No I wouldn't because it's fish and anyway todays fish livers are full of pollution.
nope. You can get Omega 3 from numerous other sources.
Why? No I wouldn't, besides being vegan I am allergic to fish and most seafood. Plus I get all the nutrients I need plus more without animal products. Flax oil and flaxseeds are good to replace fish oil.
No, I don't see any reason to take fish oil supplements. I incorporate flax seed into my diet as an alternative. Fish oil comes from animals and since there is another (non-animal) choice, I go with that.
Nope, i wouldn't take them because i don't eat fish so i wont eat their oils. But i do take veggie/vegan friendly supplements just to make sure I'm not laking anything.
Hi.
I take them..and I am vegetarian. I need to get my Omega-3 fatty acids. LOL....but I take them. I do not like the idea that they came from a living animal but they help my body.
=D
No, why would I need to when I can get omega-3 from the same place the fish do? (Marine microalgae, btw... you can get vegan omega-3 / dha capsules online or at Whole Foods.)
No of corse not.
its part of an animal
although some Vegetarians do eat fish
and im sure they would.
i'm not one either, but my aunt is, and if she has a pepperoni pizza or something, she'll just take off the meat, and eat it. so i'm pretty sure she'd probably use the fish oil.
