If you were eating at a restraunt what vegan/vegetarian menue items would you like to see? thanks.?!
I like grain or bean salads, you never see enough of those outside of the grocery store or salad bar. Israeli (fat) couscous, chickpea salad, tabouli, wheatberry salad, that sort of thing.
Various fruit and veggie smoothies might be a nice idea, or serving a veg thali/tapas type of menu would be a fun idea.
What I don't want - the boring standbys like pasta with tomato sauce, veg pizza, veg lasagna, boca burger, and teriyaki stir fry.
Answers: Something unique - I once had veg spring rolls made from yuba skin, which was super unusual and delicious. At a local pub here, they make veg Jamaican patties with fake ground beef and mushrooms for filling.

More of an array of veggies, instead of just lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots.
Broccoli
Asparagus
Squash
Zucchini
Eggplant
Okra
Spinach
More variety instead of salads, like burgers, pizzas, basically all the regular food, but in veggie form.
Salads can be boring, so I'd suggest something like.. a meat substitute? Yknow. Like fake bacon, fake chicken. Soy. :]
Pasta dishes, portabella burgers, soyburger tacos, great sandwiches loaded with avocado....
Quite a few chinese take-aways now do tofu/ soya alternatives to any meal on the menu. It's been a while since I ate real meat, but I think the veggie alternatives are pretty nice, and none of this 'stuffed pepper' or 'cauliflower cheese' crap.
Over here in the land of Eng, veggie alternatives are getting better and better. Mars (the chocolate company) changed their recipe so that all their products were not veggie, and there was so much outcry that they reverted back to their old methods. The system works!
It depends on the restaurant, but things other than salads... I like Indian, Tai and Chineese foods. It'd be nice to have more soups too...ones that don't use milk, cream or beef broth. Offer pizza's with soy cheese, garden burgers and yummy pastas with no cheese if it's more of an "american style" restaurant. Always love to see a variety of veggies!
Pasta dishes I can eat. I dislike eating out because I know my choice of food is going to be very limited(I'm a veggie who is practically vegan through food allergies)
