Vegans, would you do this?!
Answers: There is a particpant on here who will remain nameless that sells his hay on his farm to farmers who then use the hay to fatten their cattle for slaughter. Do you thnk this is hypocritical on his part. What line needs to be drawn between making a living and talking out of both sides of your mouth?
No. I wouldn't.
Happy?
I'm sorry who cares? We all have to make a living. Are you THAT bored??? If it bothers you, be a man and address the issue head on instead of asking a question people really thought they could answer. Talk to whoever it is that made you ask this ridiculous question.
Frankly, if you're trying to destroy the vegans again--sorry vegans for my issues last week--then you're just wasting your time. I don't understand why you care so much about what they believe. They're just as healthy as us--that one's that know how to eat right anyway. And that participant might not have known what he or she was getting into when he or she gave that hay away. God christ! Nobody's perfect. YOu cat like vegans should be perfect! Don't you realize that the food they eat may continue some bugs in it, but they don't mind because they realize that and they know they can't be perfect.
I seriously doubt that cows are forced fed hay. Have you ever even been around cows? You seriously do not know what you're talking about...so stop trying.
You are talking like he is selling his hay to factory farms, who don't even feed those cows hay...
So this man has a cash crop right? I wouldn't have a huge cash crop because most of those farmers spray their fields with pesticides, so toxic that the farmers develop all kinds sicknesses....
You should educate yourself.
hahaha
What's the matter with you? You must just feel really guilty about the meat you eat...and lashing out like a child.
Dude grow up. There are people who come on here looking for real advise.....you must have been teased pretty bad when you were a kid to act this way. Seriously sad.
No because everyone needs to make a living to feed their families
A vegan who is a vegan because of cruelty to animals should definitely not sell his hay to cattlemen raising cattle for slaughter if he wants to be true to this principle. However, there are other vegans, like myself, who are vegan only in what they eat because they consider it the healthiest way to go.
You are right.....a line needs to be drawn. While I hate cruelty to animals, I also hate having our freedoms eroded. I'd fight to the hilt any law that would make it mandatory for everyone to be a vegan. So I draw my line at not interfering in the choices of others even if they differ from mine.
There is no such participant on V&V. Perhaps you have just got hold of the wrong end of the stick, what with you being so very new to YA, only having joined last week.
I see no problem with it. First, the animals need hay, whether they are being fattened for slaughter, or just roaming the land. Its not the sellers place to question what the consumer is going to do with goods purchased. How would you feel if each time you made a purchase, the store clerk asked you what your purpose was for the goods you were buying. The vagan that is selling the hay is just earning a living-its not his job to sell his hay only to those farmers who will not slaughter their animals. With as few vegetarian oriented farms as there are, the poor fella would be out of business.
The person that you speak of does not exist.
You are either Skully, Meg, or Flexi-cat and you think that it's not obvious.
let's do it in the butt.
I agree with Krister in that you sound a lot like Skully or Meg. You really need to get a life. You seem quite obsessed with this issue. Any normal person wouldn't spend this much time and energy hating on someone they dislike. Its only really acceptable if its someone like an ex, family member, or close friend, but not someone on the internet who you don't even know (at all). You really need help.
