I am a vegetarian and I want to know if I can still lose about fifteen pounds a.s.a.p?!
Answers: Sure. Just because you are vegetarian does not necessarily mean that your diet is healthy-or low fat. Do you eat a lot of junk food, processed foods, or high fat foods? Eat a well balanced diet, snack on some raw veggies, eat salads, and try not to eat prepackaged foods-they are full of high fructose corn syrup and other nasty ingredients that your body does not know how to process, so it stores it as fat. Watch for hidden ingredients in foods you would not suspect-such as ketchup, dressings, condiments, etc. Vegetarian has nothing to do with weight-its getting a proper balance of GOOD nutrients, regardless of what type of diet you eat. I know some veggies who gorge on junk food all day-thats certainly not healthy. Balance is the key.
no carbs after 6pm, only veggies and lean protein. you must have carbs up until 6pm every day or you'll be missing important energy and nutrients/grains. no juice after 6pm either since juice is mostly carbs (energy)
Diet ain't the whole deal, you gotta exercise to shed the poundage. I could stand to drop a stone myself, but I'm just not motivated at present--burgers and beers are just too good. Sorry...
1 )Plan your meals.
2) cut your portions, have only 3/4 of your previous meal. then cut that down to 1/2. so your Body gets use to it.
3) exercise! work out, if you are burning more cals. then you are consuming that will make you lose weight.
4) eat mostly home cooked meals. - fast foods and other outside foods has more cards and oils and sugars!
5) have you though about cutting out dairy. see that one step will cut out a lot of sugary carbs. example donuts, cake, etc,,, bread

exercise
why not exercise
what's wrong with exercise
have you thought about exercise
That depends on haw many carbohydrates you are eating.
From what I've read, the fastest way to shed weight is to follow an Atkins like low carb, high protein and fat diet. Studies have shown that it is effective and safe, at least in the short term.
Exercise is also essential.
Ever notice how people started getting really fat around the time the "experts" were telling us to eat low fat and to eat more carbs?
I thought vegans were supposed to slim ? HOw long have you been one about three days ?
don't listen to the person telling you that you have only until 6 to eat food. that is insane and what time you eat food has nothing to do with how you lose weight. if you want to lose weight eat more protein and be more active. cut out foods you do not need in the day.
sure, just restrict your intake on fatty foods and exercise.
I'm not sure how long it will take, because the results will vary on each individual.
Course u can silly.
Just eat less 500 calories that wat ur rekoned daily calories intake is, which will make u lose 100gram daily so I guess maybe eat 700 calories less it really depends if u do exercise as well & how fast u want 2 lose the weight..
The above has some great advice. 1 biggie pay attention to what you eat. Keep a daily log of you food & drink intake.
Lower your Fat intake & no refined starchy carbs(they turn into sugar). Many Veggie make up their diets lack of animal flesh by over doing fats: nuts, nut butters, seeds, CHEESE, etc..of even worst eat veggie based "JUNK" food, example Corn or Potato Chips. Yes there are veggie but still fried & still highly fattening.

You will be slimmer in no time.
well limit your dairy. shoot more for low fat dairy. not fat free though because it is replace with artificial flavors and more sugar. check labels and stay away from refined sugars, high fructose corn syrup, bleached anything. all those nasty ingredients that you cant pronounce. opt for organic as much as you can. eat plenty of fruits and veggies. when eating nuts, seeds, and oils try to eat only raw forms of them. because when food is raw it contains all its enzymes and nutrients rather than cooked or roasted do.
exercise too. make sure to get the recommended 30-90 mins a day. :) good luck!
Sure!
With a balanced diet and plenty of exercise, you should be able to drop fifteen pounds.
Make sure you eat plenty of "colors" as far as your fruit and veggies are concerned. Eat plenty of fibre and drink 8 glasses of water per day.
Avoid processed foods at all cost...that also goes for refined sugar and bleached flour.
Good luck!
