Do you vegetarians out there really look at the questions you pose?!

Question: You all sound so pathetic and small minded - is that the result of a meat free diet

Answers: You all sound so pathetic and small minded - is that the result of a meat free diet

VEGETARIAN; Native American word for 'lousy hunter.'

No it's because they are pathetic and small minded.

Have you looked at the pathetic, childish attacks that meat eaters launch on nearly every thread here? Talk about small-minded.

"Oh, I'm too weak to answer because I don't get enough protein." "Vegetables have rights, too." "I'll never give up my slab of steak for your horrible rabbit food." It's all just a constant stream of ignorance, antagonism, and hate.

If you're threatened by vegetarianism, then go on burying your head in the sand and eating your meat. Nobody is making you change.

I understand that my diet holds up a mirror to your own dietary choices, and that's why so many meat eaters lash out at vegetarians. It makes them uncomfortable to have to confront the cruelty inherent in their own diet. I try to remember this whenever a meat eater launches an unprovoked attack on me, but after a while, you start to get weary of it. Unfortunately, some people break down and take the bait, which is exactly what the meat eaters want. But when you're constantly on the defensive and under attack for the diet you've chosen ... well, everyone has a breaking point.

If you came here looking to understand why vegetarians do what they do, and asked your question in a respectful, non-confrontational way, you'd probably have a pleasant conversation and maybe even learn something. If your only purpose is to come here and harass and belittle people who don't think like you, well, don't expect a lot of kindness in return. I do feel sorry for you, though, that you must go through life with such a chip on your shoulder toward those who are different from you. Ignorance and prejudice are ugly things.

Look, I'll have my diet, and you can have yours. I'll be content in knowing that I'm causing less suffering in the world, and that I'll be a heck of a lot healthier than you in the long run. Run along, now, won't you, and leave this forum for people who have honest and respectful questions?

1. If you are going to pose a question then use the sub-text to pose another, why not just use that question as the headline. A question like "Vegetarians on this forum seem to be pathetic and small minded, is that the result of a meat free diet?"

2. Explain what it is about the questions you find pathetic and small minded. I for one hardly ever post a question on this forum because I prefer to answer questions than ask them. The majority of the questions on this forum are dreamt up by trolls, aiming for a response from people like you.

3. Surely being small minded is about letting your prejudices rule your mind. Your presumption that some small minded vegetarians are that way because they don't eat meat is part of your prejudice narrowing your own thought processes. Can't you see that your attitude is as small minded as some of the vegetarians whose questions you object to?

4. Life is about asking the questions which matter to you and trying to find the answer which fits with your philosophy, or at the very least broadens your horizons. If people are too stupid to use this forum for that, then leave them to it.

H.

Watch out..they have lots of carrots and i think i know where they might shove them..

Whats with the vegy hate anyway? Did one kill your puppy or something? x

did you read yours?

i guess you did...

Anyway, most quesations make sense but there a a few who just rant or ask stupid question that 2 seconds of concentration would have answered.. But if you see the quesations nd answers that some omnis post, then you can see that it goes both ways

@Fez - very defensive of you and do I detect some hostility too? Does "The replies here are the typical defensive things you'd expect from people who don't want to be confronted with the consequences of their dietary choices".. sound familiar?

i say continue to eat meat so that we all can get cancer and heart problems and have more acid in our bodies to die faster!!! that's the smart way to live.

@lo_mcg
im no vege person or whatever. there're 2 ways you can get cancer, either it's in your genes or that eating meat significantly increases your chance of getting cancer because the fact is, cancer lives on meat. cancer cells need meat to multiply. i eat meat but i dont disguise the fact. you can believe what you want with whatever website you read from, i have my own concept. Plus, im not the one who had cancer.
thank you. :)

To purposefully come into this forum that has apparently no ligitimate interest for you is small minded and pathetic.

I will not be so narrow minded to assume thats a result of your diet.

Why be so negative ? Is it too difficult to put a positive slant on your choices so you find it easier to trash ours ?

Next you'll be pretending you didn't mean an insult and it was just a "devils advocate" type question..yeah, yeah, we've heard and seen it all before in this forum - its boring.

edit: meatme66 is a piece of work eh ? your implication ("im not the one who had cancer" ) is that somehow cancer sufferers have caused thier own situation and then you smile about it.

I've seen some low-life answers in this forum over the past 2 years - that just about takes top place.

Your problem is that you have been eating too much heat-treated foods that cause you to be hot-tempered.

What would be in your safest most healthy interest if you wish to stay alive is living foods that can be savoured as they are.

You give no examples of the questions you find pathetic and small-minded; it would be easier to answer your question if you did.

I suppose we could all concern ourselves with more serious world issues like this one

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

would that be more to your liking? (I'm not small-minded enough to put it down to your diet.)

@ Meatme66666, there is no evidence that any particular food causes cancer. Your answer makes veg*ns look silly, as people will assume you are one. I am a vegan who's had cancer

And it doesn’t matter whether foods are acidic or alkaline, because no foods change the acidity of anything in your body except your urine. Your stomach is so acidic that no food can change its acidity.

Read this excellent article - Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense by Gabe Mirkin, M.D.

@ Meatme6666 - you really know nothing about cancer do you? ''cancer lives on meat. cancer cells need meat to multiply.'' LOL. How's the oncology career coming on? I must have been eating meat in my sleep, right?

Yes they do and they aren't small minded. Actually, some really seem like they are but I doubt they are the actual vegers.

That "honor" is reserved for the flexi-trolls.

Have you ever read my questions?

Did you respond to my questions, about branding, fake meat made in labs, raising children on healthy diets versus junk food, etc....

Do you even have the capacity to answer questions, in a well researched and intelligent manner?

You realize any ridiculous questions are asked by meat-eating trolls posing as veg*ns to discredit us, right? If you think we're pathetic, you're free to leave.

How pathetic and small minded of you.

The vegetarians and vegans on this site are what normal people consider vegans of convenience (VOC) they will say they live a animal free cruelty diet/lifestyle but do not want to give up their modern coneniences to make them 100%. I say if you went to Thailand or some place in Asia you would see some real vegans, not the jokers on here.
