Favorite vegan sandwich?!

Question: What is everyone's favorite vegan sandwich?

Answers: What is everyone's favorite vegan sandwich?

I love sandwiches I guess my favorite is the tofurky cheezsteak.

With "Philly Style" Steak Tofurky Deli Slices, caramelized onions, nutritional yeast cheese sauce!

Or a homemade version of the vegan sub from Quiznos.

I order the Veggie Delight from Subway, not sure if that's considered vegan, but I do like to order it.

Jamb Sandwich . . . take two slices of bread and jamb 'em together . . .

grilled cheese

Death.

My fave is avocado.

cucumber with onion

Peanut butter and jelly!!!!!!!

I suppose soy cheese and tomatoes would be good

I am absolutely SICK of hummus (My school's hummus, which is what they ALWAYS use for the vegan option, has too much garlic in a bad way)

Veggie delight at subway is okay except some of the breads have honey in them (like the wheat bread has or used to have dried honey as one of its last ingredients) so if you don't eat honey...

two pieces of wheat bread three slices of Tomato and Seasoning salt on top! Yummy!

tatziki sauce (made with soy yogurt, dill, garlic, lemon, and salt), sprouts, tomatoes, and avocado on honey bread (if you don't eat honey have wheat)

i work at a community health center and we do all sorts of dietary specialties...my favorite vegan sandwich has to the walnut burger we do...we serve it with this amazing cranberry chutney. it's awesome!

I am torn between peanut butter and spinach leaves [great for winter] and greek olive tapenade with cucumber [great for warmer months].

Always on wholeweat toast and if you can find one with seeds so much the better.

portobello mushroom sandwiches or wraps.

Falafel patties with tomato on wholegrain bread or pita.

My veggie daughters favorite is grilled mixed peppers, spring onion and mock cheese sauce, made with nutritional yeast (tastes like cheese, but its super healthy and tasty) I put it on homemade croissants, then grill it like a panini. I eat gluten free, so my favorite is curried buckwheat and veggies in a homemade buckwheat or rice wrapper. Another of my daughters favorites is a grilled portabello mushroom, served like a hamburger, with the traditional toppings-pickles, mustard and ketchup.

Can't beat a good old-fashioned PB&J!

vietnamese sandwich is good! x)

Tempeh Reuben and TLT!! Tempeh Reuben is best with Bubbie's Sauerkraut, avocado, pickle, vegan 1000 island dressing and pumpernickel bread. But I also love the easy Tempeh Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Vegannaise... Yummy! I can't imagine my life with out Vegannaise, I love it!

Hickory smoked Tofurky deli slices with vegenaise and chopped onions in a wrap or on bread.

Or for a more ethnic choice, falafel in a pita with all the traditional falafel fixings (tahini sauce, lettuce, beets..)

I love vegan sammiches! Avocado w/ veganaise, mustard, lettuce, onion and cucumbers is very refreshing. I also love italian sandwiches....marinara, basil leaves & vegan seitan.

other favs:

Grilled portobello sandwich
BBQ tofu sandwich

Hm, that's funny, I don't eat sandwiches. Not for... hm... I guess not since the early 90s. I guess I found that they are not very convenient, and good bread is expensive.

I'm too weak to remember
