How healthy is the food I ate today?!
I ate:
Breakfast:
2 slices of toast with Marmite, cup or decaf coffee,
Lunch:
Humous and pitta bread, satsuma
Dinner:
Glass of fruit smoothie
Fresh pasta, with broccoli and sugar snap peas,
Custard with a banana.
I also drank a fair bit of water today.
Is this a good balance of food groups today?
Answers: I am vegetarian, and usually don't eat terribly well to be honest - I often don't eat 3 meals, and when I do they are normally not very well balanced. Today I feel like I did well ...

Yes that sounds healthy (better than what I ate today!) lots of fruit and veg, protein with the hummus, water. Was the bread and pasta wholemeal? That is the only thing I can think of to make it more healthy if it wasn't.
Sounds good. Sounds yummy to!
yes, that sounds relitivly healthy, however you should try to drink more water.
i would say so.
i think you need to have some sort of protein though, to make up for the loss of protein through meat. do you eat fish? if not then you could eat pulses like beans, lentils, baked beans etc.
i am a vegetarian too and i find this quite difficult.
well done for drinking lots of water - this is very important :)

Gonna die with that food.
Where is the fats / sugers / alchohol / other substances...
Are you wanting to live to 'old' age ?
If so why?
That meal sounds pretty good to me!
Why not try adding some fruit in for brekkie and keep drinking water. Also, try drinking lemon, honey water in the mornings. Keeps you refreshed!
<3
Yeah sounds healthy and tasty enough for me to eat and you know what i'm not even a vegetarian so keep it up.
You need more substance in your diet. Too many liquid like foods. This will keep you skinny but may lead to IBS problems.
That sounds ok. You should probably include more fresh produce, make sure that the pita and pasta are whole grain, and increase your protein intake. The chickpeas in the hummus is a good start, and presumably the custard had egg (which I don't advocate, but it is a protein at least), but you should up the legume consumption. Or try some soy- tofu, tempeh, etc.
You need protein. Eat some beans.
It's sounds pretty good but i suggest you drink a protien shake or a slimfast in the morning... Something to help you through the day.
Sounds like you have an eating disorder. With the lack of protein you can look forward to a nice case of Kwashiorkor. Look up that and the word "orthorexia" online.
In the meantime try eating some eggs and cheese. You also need some animal fats (available in eggs and cheese) for optimal health.
Looks good.
but, 2 slices of toast and marmite?
Sounds like a starvation diet to me.
How can you live on so little?
very low metabolism I guess.
I wouldn't mix my fruit with other things, like veggies or grains etc. Not good for digestion. I'd also not drink the coffee... tastes gross to me.
Yeah it sounds pretty good! You covered vegetables, fruit, carbs (in the pasta and bread), protein (in the hummus), fat (custard)...sounds good to me! I suggest taking vit. B12 as lots of veggies miss out on this important vitamin. And drink more water! :D
It depends on the quantities but I'd say you'd need more iron and possibly protein. You can increase your consumption of both these nutrients by switching to brown bread/pasta. Possibly have some orange juice or fruit at breakfast to increase the iron absorption.
Overall though it's pretty good
