I need some suggestions for iron rich foods that are nice to eat. I don't like liver or spinach or red meat!
Banana & spinach.
But you honestly can't taste the spinach, you can only taste the banana.
Perfect for those who hate spinach.
The book "Green for Life" by Victoria Boutenko has more information (maybe you can borrow it from your local library)
Otherwise maybe take a iron supplement - I take Spatone:

I understand chickpeas and beans are good sources of iron, as are dried fruits. Other dark green leafies are good sources of iron--try lightly steaming them or eating them raw. And make sure you have something rich in vitamin C with your vegetarian iron sources; with absorption.
So a falafel pita with some Israeli salad (cucumbers and tomatoes) is good and one of my favorite meals.
