Vegan bashing is boring! I am tired of reading so much crap about vegans and vegetarians.?!

Question: In fact I dont read anything about vegans/vegetarians bashing meat eaters in the cooking forum and if they did would not there be hell to pay?

It seems acceptable for meat eaters to come to this forum and pose questions like "you vegans......
Whats your opinion?

If your tired of it why are you bashing on the lowly meaties. You eat fish and are a meatie to. I wish the meaties would just leave those of use that rightfully belong here alone.

Uh, doesn't really matter. People are ignorant, can't do **** about it though.

Apparently they feel threatened enough to harass us. I find it pitiful.

Yeah does seem to be a bit repetitive. I'm getting pretty sick of it too. How bout we all trade some good vegie/vegan recipes and just cheer up.

=0)

Hey G.W. ~~ I am one of the despised troll's here... Many people come into this site spreading half truth's about the meat, milk and egg industry and I suppose I, in my own small way, try to post information that brings some correctness to the discussion. I know not everyone agrees with me and that is ok. Personally I do not care if you eat meat or not. Just do not spread incorrect information as your way of trying to sway impressionable young people into this type of diet. In retrospect, some v & v's do not seem to have a problem bashing the farm industry and creating the illusion that all farm animals are mistreated and that you should not eat a certain food. I respect your wishes but not the misinformation.

Because they don't want to feel bad about their own lifestyles. They use pseudo-reasoning to convince themselves they are right, pseudo-humor to try make vegans look like moron and intellectualisation to distance themselves from reality. Very unhealthy.

Well, we prefer to be called omnivores, as "meat eaters" seems to be used as almost a slur by veggie folks. It also infers that we are carnivores - humans are biological omnivores.

People just need to stop preaching and judging - on your side as well as on the majority side. There is plenty of "meat eater" bashing going on too. So we believe and eat differently, so what?

Act tolerantly towards others and they will respond in kind. Preach that what you believe and practice is the only "right" way, and you will get a lot of opposition views.

Edit reply - Well you seem a very angry person. You did ask for opinions after all. Why ask and then get all defensive? The bashing is on both sides. Why not do a search using the phrase "meat eaters" and see what's there? See how many questions there are about how wrong/evil meat eaters are....etc....

Look for them - they are there.

umm........ i just need points.... i luv meat so just shove it down ur throat it might be good 4 u .......jk

Thats very sad that people would do that, and that people would get so offended by things they don't have to read. As if someone owned the Veg section of YA. LOL

get over it, its a place where people vent.

Agreed....I just try not to answer, but sometimes I have too. There are a few people who a very very small minded....like Common Sense and OhWell.

It just sucks that there are people who think that they are serious, and there are young people who come on here looking for good information and get treated like dirt because of the trolls.

So what I do is try to find the people who actually need some honest information and answer them.

:)
