Why do people that aren't vegeterians post mean things on the vegeterian section?!
Answers: It's like they come on here just to be mean. If they don't like us then they should just leave us alone instead of picking on us. What is their problem?
Because they like to show the world at large that they are very rude and ignorant...I personally dont care what anyone chooses to eat, it does'nt affect me in any way shape or form, and it should be the same for others

Honestly, it's because they look at veganism and vegetarianism as pointless and silly or just trendy. That is their belief and they often express it with jokes and meanness. Pretty standard human behavior actually.

Jk jk. I think it's more of an inferiority complex. They know that we're healthier, smarter, more disciplined, and more environmentally friendly.
Now, they could just stop eating meat in order to fix this inferiority complex, but they're probably too lazy or too fearful of change to go that far. So the most they can do is post mean things on Yahoo! to boost their egos.
Because they're morons. They get defensive because they think by choosing a different path we're instantly saying their path is wrong. They want to offend us before we offend them. They don't realize that most of us don't give a sh*t what they eat and that THEY are the ones instigating fights where there wouldn't be one if they kept their big yaps shut.

People are afraid of changing their habits, especially food habits which are so full of feelings. They see vegetarians as an attack towards them and they're trying to defend themselves in making fools of vegos. When they see that people in their environment are vegos they realise that it's possible to be a vego and that's a fact they can't manage.......!!!!!????
They find it ridiculous, which is just plain ignorant. I eat meat, but I'm not ignorant in all that goes on. I just know that not all meat compaines do that to their animals and I only trust the videos on peta, not any other videos because a lot of slaughterhouse videos are probably fake. So, I stay away from some companies like McDonalds, KFC, and Butterball becuase I know for a fact what they do and it's just not pleasant.

For you Christian types, isn't judging reserved for God Almighty? Why then, do you assume all meat-eaters are jerks, murderers, torturers, heartless, souless, etc.? Who are you to make such an assumption?
