Is movie theatre popcorn vegan?!
Answers: I rarely get it because it's so overpriced but just in case...Of course I would get it without extra butter. A long time ago I worked at a theatre and I remember we added oil and popcorn salt to the plain seeds, but I don't recall if they contained animal ingredients.
At the theatre my sister worked for they used a butter-flavoured oil product. It had natural ingredients and whey in it. You should check with the theatre, because the one in my town is vegan, so I guess it really depends on where you are.
I bet it has artificial butter flavor, the cheap crooks, but that's even worse than dairy in my opinion.
Sneak your own in, bwa ha ha!
Most likey...I mean, the only dairy thing they could add is butter...or some oils might contain animal...hm...you'd better ask them at the counter.
no, they are vegan. They are Completely VEGAN!
From what I have heard, some is actually vegan even with the extra "butter" added. They use primarily tropical oils (like coconut) and the "butter" flavor is frequently completely artificial. You'd have to ask the individual theater, though, to know for sure.
as far as i know it is vegan but its best to ask at the cinema just to be sure
Yep. It's coconut oil and artificial flavoring. The 'buttery topping' is as well.
I always thought they used real butter.... you can make your own air popped, pop corn at home and sneak it in. Thats what I do to be on the safe side.
