Vegan foods, such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and beans, are low in fat, contain no cholesterol, and are rich in fiber and nutrients. Vegans can get all the PROTEIN they need from legumes (e.g., beans, tofu, peanuts) and grains (e.g., rice, corn, whole wheat breads and pastas); calcium from broccoli, kale, collard greens, tofu, fortified juices and soymilks; iron from chickpeas, spinach, pinto beans, and soy products; and B12 from fortified foods or supplements. (>>Indeed human body is capable to synthesize it's own B12 under ideal physical condition<<). With planning, a vegan diet can provide all the nutrients we were taught as schoolchildren came only from animal products.

eggs or beans, or fish (if you eat that)

Nuts are a good substitute.

Soy products, nuts.

beans however you need calcium too

Hmmm..
beans and nuts have lots of protein.

or They have those powder protein jars where you just scoop a spoonful into a drink or food and you're ready to go ha

Eeek, that will be diffiicult, Ii personally don't mind eating eggs or dairy as nothing is killed, but soya is good lots of soy milk and nuts, beans, flazseed oil, tofu, etc..

Peanut butter and jelly!

Nuts beans and pulses

I went vegetarian for a while and I don't particularly like eggs or milk, so I went with beans, lentils, etc. Tofu, whole wheat bread, bulgur, soy milk (along with other soy products like soy cheese and soy yogurt), and oatmeal can contain good sources of protein as well. Any nuts also have protein - peanuts, pecans, walnuts, anything. There's a wide variety of animal-less protein food.

Happy vegan-ing!

nuts, cereals, lentils are good sources of proteins!!

eggs r rich in proteins too if u don't consider them as non-veg :)

probly like nuts but you should look into suplements for energy/protien/vitamens

tofu, beans, soy products, vegan imitation meats and cheese

Nuts and beans have a lot of protein.

If you're really into convenience, there's protein powders (mix w/ water). Soy protein isolate powder is from soy, and it's pretty tasty.

Dark green leafy vegetables (kale and mustard greens), broccoli, lentils, nuts, beans, peas and seeds.

Make sure you eat fruits and vegetables of varying colors, take a b-12 supplement, and you'll be all set.
.

There's a whole lot of things :
* protein powders with multivites / minerals
*Amino acids in powder form
*Lentils
* egg white ..be careful of too much yolk.
* beans, nuts,
* improved dairy products
* soy meals
Check out the stores ....Answers will not be enough !

Any soy products..such as soy milk, soy nuts, tofu etc...
beans, lentils, Boca burgers, bean sprouts, Peanut butter (I love the smuckers all natural, Cook with sunflower oil and eat lots of sunflower seeds, they are great on salads.

Eggs (if you are not vegan)
pulses
beans
cheese (if not vegan)
Tofu
legumes (peas, green beans)

Kidneys, peas, plainteins (told that by a nutritionest), cashiews, peanuts, sunflowers, blackeyed peas, whole wheat, tofu, limas, soy milk, soy beans.

To get all the vitmens and minerals you need think of your colors. Pay attention and eat orange, deep reds, blues and dark greens. Those foods with those colors have the most food value in them.

Variety is key to this diet. And hey when you try the vegi meats do not expect them to taste like the real thing, they are good but they are different.

I am not a vegan but I know vegans and I can eat in a vegan kitchen because my vegan friend makes great food. Best of luck doing something increadiably healthy.

First of all, i must commend you on going vegan. I have been vegetarian for 3 years, and i haven't been able to make myself become vegan yet (i will get there one day)!

Algae(if you are into that :/)
Seitan
Grains
