Edamame beans are so tasty, usually vegetables are hard to eat because of lack of taste for me, why different?!
Answers: Until I train my taste buds to start liking vegetables + fruits and less carbs, I actually enjoy the taste of edamame soybeans. Usually, what tastes good is usually not too good for your body. Am I fooling myself by eating these soybeans, are they actually high in fat content or something, am I fooling myself?
Edamame do contain more fat than regular beans (like pinto beans or chickpeas) but far less than mature soybeans, and definitely less than nuts. There is also some free glutamic acid present that contributes the 'taste'.
No edamame is delicous! Take it from a Japanese girl! Edamame is different it tastes much better than a lot of other things. I don't know why but, they are just delicous!!! Especially with salt. Plus they are healthy!
Cupcake :-)
I think it's the cooking process. I think they are boiled just right in salted water, which gives them a lot of flavor. Non-American vegetarian food is amazing ... I think it's why veggies have such a bad wrap, because the American veg diet of salad and steam vegetables is so boring.
mmm...edamame is my favorite thing to eat, and i eat it on a daily basis. soy protein is very good for you, and i think that even if it is high in fat content, which im not sure if it is or not, its benefits outweigh how much fat content there is.
one thing that you should take caution to is the sodium because i always put salt, and too much sodium isnt too good.
mmm...i just might boil me up some right now. =D
Probably because they are rich in oil, but perhaps because your body is craving such nutrients, saying, yeah - more! I never analyze why things taste so good, I just eat more. Soybeans taste so buttery. Try nori seaweed... tastes great too. It's a vegetable.
