Are farm animals being abused in canada?!
I'm talking about Canada, not other countries. Because Peta.com has videos up about it but they also say the undercover footage is from other parts of the world, such as australia. So i'm just wondering if animals are being tortured, abused, neglected, before slaughtered for their meat in canada?
Answers: Are farm animals, the types that are slaughtered and sent to grocery stores for us to eat, such as pigs, cows, chickens, etc, being abused before killed in Canada?

They are tortured every where. From the US to Australia. To be honest, i think animals being sent to slaughter houses themselves is torture.
Think about it. You're an animal eating grass on your own pasture and all of a sudden your being shoved on a truck in a small area, waiting to be killed.
I just think that's my opinion. So, yes, there is most likely animals that are being tortured, abused, neglected, before slaughter for meat in Canada.
There is always the chance that one or two companies will break the rules, in what ever country you can think of.
Undoubtedly there are at least several meat plants in Canada that abuse their animals. Most factory farm life is abusive on it's own, let alone people who have to kill as many animals in as quick of time as possible. How could that not be abusive?
Farm animals are abused everywhere.
Any place where animals are treated as a commodity and where profit is a motivator, animals will be abused. I'd find it hard to believe that agribusiness is significantly different in Canada than it is in the States.
They are abused worldwide.Turn on your tv and see the california beef recall and animal abuse video on the news.
Yes they are. Unless you think Canadians are more humane than Australians (which would be a ridiculous assumption, since they are both human beings).
