Is all glycerine from animal if they don't specify?!
Answers: my bf just saw that it is in his english muffins and its obviously in some soaps. he is grossed out. is it from animal?
Probably.
Since glycerine can be extracted from both plant and animal fats, most natural products will list it as "vegetable glycerine."
I'd be freaked out too. Assume unless they say from a vegan source it is not. Contact the company or look on the Net for a Veggie list.
Yeah, I assume it's animal-sourced unless it says "vegetable glycerin." If you have a question about a specific product, contact the company. A lot of them are very good about giving specific information when asked.
