Can becomeing a vegatarian be dangerous?!
There isn't much nutrition in meat, but that is also true of most processed foods. People always talk about the 'protein' in meat because that's about all meat offers, besides iron. You can get both of those things in veggie-based foods. I've never heard of anyone having a protein deficiency unless they had an actual eating disorder. I'm vegan for ethical reasons, but I'm also extremely health-conscious, and I support any omnivore getting their meat from a small family farm or hunting if they are going to eat meat. Conventional meat is UNhealthy. Please be vegetarian, be vegan, eat all organic food from your region if you can. Most important: eat a wide variety of food. I found more of a variety of food after I stopped eating meat, because there's so much out there that is not part of the Standard American Diet (SAD).
Eat as much fresh food as possible, and get the best variety that you can. Eat SPROUTS on your food. Sprouts contain all of the essential amino acids that form the protein best suited for human digestion. Buy them or make your own--it's really easy. You'll be healthier than ever!
Answers: I don't think becoming vegetarian is dangerous. People can eat 2 cheeseburgers and still feel like snacking because that food is devoid of nutrition. You can eat a nutritionally dense salad and feel great for hours. If you are eating correctly, you will not become obese.

maybe if you don't get enough protein in your diet... just make sure to get protein elsewhere like nuts and stuff.
For a lion, probably.
But for a human, no.
Just make sure you have a range of fruit, veggies, cereals, dairy etc. You'll be fine
If you are thinking of trying it out, maybe browse through these pages:

Humans were originally intended to be vegetarian...We adopted eating meat and therefore we suffer diseases because of it...
I just stopped eating Pork of any kind 15 months ago, and have not been sick at all since then...
Not even a sniffle or sneeze in 15+ months.. I'm then going to try to eliminate meat altogether, but I haven't been able to do that yet..
not if you eat enough so make sure you have enough vegitables and you need protein so eat nuts peanut butter eggs fish tofu beans and more gl
Nope ?
If your interested in eliminating meat from your diet, buy the book "Becoming Vegetarian. " It will answer all your questions.
Just dangerously good for you and dangerously good for animals and the environment.
only if you dont take additional vitamins and supplements
it can be if you don't eat enough of the foods that have vitamins you need
just make sure you get enough protein and such and you'll be fine
you can get protein from beans, nuts, peanut butter, and tofu
Not as dangerous as not using spell-check.
Nope.
I don't think so.
As dangerous as smoking... or drinking... or eating junk food?
Maybe if you become a smoking, drinking, junk food eating vegetarian... sure.
No, but NOT becoming one certainly is.
Dangerous for your health (cancer, heart disease, diabetes)
Dangerous for the planet, (meat production contributes more to global warming than ALL forms of transportation combined)
Dangerous for for the animals. http://www.farmsanctuary.org/issues/fact...
