I would really sugest that you research your topic and go from there. Becoming a vegetarian requires mores than just asking people because you have to know recipes and such to make the diet work. http://www.ehow.com/how_10636_choose-con... this is a good site http://www.vegsource.com/ or http://www.thevegetarianchannel.com/ orhttp://www.natural-family.com/3veg-index... hope these help good luck
Beans, supplements, soymilk.
Tofu, tempeh, seitan...<all substitute meats
Also, soy cheese and soy milk work wonders. :)
I do, yes.
Do you know where to find 'spell-check'?
Do some research on nutrution before venturing here. You can get protein from beans, nuts, eggs, tofu, humus. Make sure to eat a lot of dark green leafy vegetables so the iron in your body doesn't get too low. Also make sure to take a Bcomplex vitamin. Just getting protein from a source other than meat isn't all you need to learn. Dr. McDougall has a great site for learning about vegetarianism and nutrition.

Here's some good information on protein in general, how much (how little) you need, why too much is bad for you, and where to get it: http://www.pcrm.org/health/veginfo/prote...
Vegetarian sources of protein include soybeans and soy-based foods (tofu, tempeh, edamame, tvp, faux meats,) beans and other legumes (lentils, peas, peanuts, chickpeas,) grains, nuts, seeds, even fruits, vegetables and mushrooms have some. In addition, if you're still eating eggs and dairy you're getting more than you need.
A great book for coverage of vegetarian nutrition is "The New Becoming Vegetarian" by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina.
beans, tofu, boca products...in all reality you should have no problem meeting the protein daily limit
For protein, I rely on Special K Protein Plus (I've been a vegetarian for 6 months) and peanut butter has a lot of protein also, as well as eggs if you eat them (but don't eat too much of them since they're loaded with cholesterol). To get enough vitamins, I suggest buying supplements like a Vitamin B complex that has B12 in it. By getting an adequate amount of proteins and vitamins, you can maintain great health by being a vegetarian. There's this myth that claims vegetarians are "pale and unhealthy", but it's untrue as long as you follow the correct diet. Congrats on being a vegetarian! :)
beans, tofu and vegetarian meat and if you have to you can take some protein vitamins.
