Can you toast flax seeds???!

Question: Yes, you can- and it gives them a much deeper, nutty flavor.

Place whole flaxseeds in a skillet and cover. Over high heat, shake the pan constantly to keep the seeds from burning. You will hear the flaxseed start to pop. When the popping stops, remove from heat. It only takes a few minutes.
