Which vegan foods should I especially stay from when watching my weight?!

Question: I've gained back some of the weight I lost when I first became a vegan, and I'm wondering what things I should avoid. Obviously French fries and potato chips and other high-fat snacks, but what else?

any kind of candy of cource, also cookies and bread.
eating too many nuts, avocados, mangoes, and dried fruit can help you gain alittle weight too (though they ARE healthy).
try to avoid highly processed foods and sugar. also, alot of salt can make you retain water.

instead, try these foods:
watermelon (best for breakfast!)
strawberries
apples (try to get the organic ones)
broccoli (if frozen, just saute it i water)
tofu or soy products like Silk soy-milk and firm tofu
Amy's veggies burgers
and replace regular salt with sea salt.

It's not what you eat it's how much you eat.

I wasn't aware that french fries and potato chips were vegan foods...

Let me give it a shot. The first are the good ones....followed by the bad.

Good meal
1) Edamame steamed with salt, pepper, vinegar, and lemon.
2) Hard cooked Tofu, steamed with broccoli, onion, lemongrass, and almonds
3) Noodles

Bad meal
1) Carrot sticks - constipation and weight retention
2) Celery and Peanut butter - little nutritional value, lots of fat.
3) Ease up on the nuts

Most drinks contain sugar by the cup. Keep it to water as much as possible.

The refined starches can be bad for your blood sugar and your weight--cut back on white rice, potatoes, and breads if you eat a lot of those.

Nuts are a source of protein, but also have a lot of fat. If you're relying on peanut butter and trail mix for your protein, you're probably taking in a bunch of unnecessary calories.

And, this is kind of obvious, but sugary desserts are often a culprit. Soy Delicious may be dairy-free, but it's not completely healthy either.

please avoid cheese or butter or any other oil substance. if you want to lose weight, take care not to add thick milk in your daily intake. it unceremoniously adds to your weight. the best part of weight reduction rests in quantity of water you take. especially if the water is luke warm, it works wonders
