As stated above, you definitely need to balance your diet and perhaps add some source of protein.

Winona- Reported for insulting other members. My wife LIKES the nickname.

Too much of anything is bad. You need some protein and carbs to fill you. Try blending fruit with juice and protein powder to make a smoothie. That will be more filling than fruit alone.

Its great that u r eating fruits and veggies and you can't really over eat these. However you are hungry because u arent eating a balanced diet. As well as fruits and veggies u need to eat low fat dairy , whole grains, healthy fats, and lean proteins. If you are vegetarian or vegan then you need to take vitamins, but most importantly talk to a nutritionist about what you can eat that will give u your nutrtion that you need. that way you will not feel hungry.

Most likely because you digest them faster than other foods. But it's okay to eat a lot of them. Keep in mind though that grapes are high in sugar so don't go too crazy with them and peas and corn are considered starches. Of course this counts if you are watching calories.

Very simply put...Fruits fall into the simple carb list, are hi in sugar, they go into the blood stream fast, used up fast. Proteins and complex carbs are burned up much slower and a more even flow of energy is released.

Two important facts, again simply put...

Plants make vitamins...are in the manufactured in the growing process...why it so important to have fresh, they break down. Our own bodies skin manuf. vit D when exposed to sunshine daily, for only 10 minutes!

Meats and supplements are where we get our minerals. We must have minerals or no life. Minerals in fact tell vitamins what to do in the body.

because you need to eat much more than fruits and veggies in a day!!!! that's terribly unhealthy and exactly what gives the veg diet a bad rap. you need to be getting protein and grains for sure or your body is going to be sick and starving. even if you take a vitamin, you need to eat other foods.

Fruit gets digested very fast and the same with veggies. I would try adding whole grains and some soy products.

Sounds like you need more fiber and more variety in your diet

You are getting alot of misinformation here. First, YES, you can over eat on fruits and veggie. Many are acidic and can throw off your alkaline/acid ration, and can lead to an ulcer. You need protein, fiber, carbs and minerals from other sources, such as beans, legumes, pulses, whole grains, etc. Since you mention that you are having chicken in your salad, then you are not a vegetarian, so you are getting protein from meat. If you were vegetarian, you would want to get fiber and protein from beans, legumes etc. Vegetarians and vegans DO NOT need supplements. You can get all of the vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbs, fats, etc. that the body needs from a plant based diet. Me and my daughter have been veg for years, and our yearly vitamin/mineral profile shows that our levels are perfect-we take no supplements or vitamins. Try balancing your diet more-the high intake of fruits and veg is great, but you need other things as well.

Hey pretty mama try some seeds, peanut butter, ect to the diet. Fish or eggs are grreat too.

Terrible name by the way! Little Mama?? That's HORRIBLE. But anyways, there is no such things as overeating fruits and vegetables anytime because they're so healthy for you. Also, fruits and vegetables don't necessarily count as a full meal. You need meat because that's how we get our energy for the day!
