Are you a vegitarian????????!
Answers: Are you a vegitarian? if you are why? how long have you been one? and how do have the will power to not eat meat? And what do you eat? There seams to be so many resteraunts and fast food places and even grocery stores that dont have vegitarian meals, but maybe im just not looking hard enough. And if your a vegan what do you eat?
i am not a vegitarian right now, but i'm trying to be
i want to quit eating any kind of meat, even eggs. but everything at the supermarket seems to have some kind of meat in it, and its very hard to shop for food anymore. I won't buy any raw meat and cook it (chicken breasts, raw ground beef...etc) but i will buy things like tuna in a can.. and sometimes I will buy veggie hotdogs, and veggie meat instead, but those dont really taste gud....
i know tuna/hotdogs is still meat, but it's a psychological thing for me. at least its a start. eventually i want to be a vegan, and stop eating anything that came from an animal, the reason for that is because i am against cruelty to animals and dont support it. actually i just ate a hotdog 2 minutes ago, lol.. but. i'm trying to quit all meat
Nope I'm not a vegetarian.
MmmHmm Sure am.
Going on 3 years now.
I never really ate much meat to begin with so it wasn't that hard to quit eating it all together.
Annnnddd even Walmart carries vegetarian food.
If you have a drug imporium(sp?) nearby they carry more stuff.
: )
No way.
I am vegan (I don't eat meat, dairy, or eggs). I started in Nov 2007 because of the AMAZING book Skinny B***h. I believe that animals should have the same rights as humans and do not deserve to see their family slaughtered (for more info check out meat.org) I eat LOTS of fruits and veggies, whole grains, soy milk, soy yogurt, meat replacements, and lots more! I pretty much eat anything someone that eats animal products eat, except they are made with different things. They have tons of yummy recipies on the last website i've listed below. =]
Yes, i've been a vegetarian for 5 months. It can be hard sometimes when I'm hungry and dont want a salad when I eat out but when you plan ahead and know what your options are going to be its okay. Check out veggieboards.com , theres a huge recipe section and lots of menu ideas. Grocery stores have plenty of vegetarian options, even if they don't have fake meats. Soups, ethnic options, stirfrys, pasta, the list is neverending.
no
**You calling my wife gay Twinkle? I have busted spines and eaten eyeballs for far less. With a name like Twinkle, I have to wonder about you.
I was for abut 5 weeks but I missed my lovely cheeseburgers so I quit. Me best friend is though she's been doing for her new years resolution!
I'm almost one but that's just 'cause i do not care for meat so much, am lactose intolerant, eggs hurt my belly and can't even stand the smell of fish.
no, i'm not a vegetarian
Yes, I have been a vegetarian for about nine months. I have the willpower not to eat meat because I became a vegetarian for health reasons, and I don't want to have a heart attack. Survival is great motivation. I don't think it's very hard. I've never been to a restaurant that didn't have something for vegetarians. And if you find a place that doesn't, don't be afraid to make a special order. I actually discovered my new favorite food (falafel) while trying new vegetarian foods.
If you think being a vegetarian is hard, go vegan for a month. After you come back, it will be the easiest thing you ever did.
Yes, for nearly 32 years.
It is more about "won't power" than "will power" to start off. After a few years, you won't miss eating animals in the least.
I take it you don't do much of your own cooking. Finding vegetarian food is very easy - greengrocers and supermarkets sell tons of it - it's called fruit, vegetables, legumes, grains, nuts and seeds. All you need to do is buy it, prepare it, cook it and eat it. For stuff like tofu, Chinese/Asian grocers sell it (cheaper than supermarkets sell it). For processed vegetarian foods (such as faux animal-bits, which I wouldn't really recommend, unless you're really missing the taste or texture of real animal-bits. I didn't.) - some you can find in supermarkets, but some you have to go to a health food shop to find.
If you don't have one, buy a good vegetarian cookbook. Don't be afraid to experiment.
Fast food places are not a good place to look for anything except junk food, movie merchandise and "Do you want a coronary with that?"
Yes. I am a vegetarian, because my intestine is not a graveyard.
Intestine of human are long to digest vegetables. To digest meat etc., short intestine is sufficient.
I am vegetarian since 25 years. (I am 35). In India, expecially in Gujarat, it is easy to be a vegetarian.
Outside India also, I have many friends who are pure vegetarians. I think you are not looking hard enough.
There are lots of vegetables in the market and vegetarian food restaurants to eat.
I have choices from around 50 different vegetables and related items.
There are many benefits of being vegetarian.

I am a veggie head.haha and im 15! Im one becuase they treat animals sooo badly in slaughterhouses, its reall sad. Ive been one for about a year and a half. Everytime im tempted to eat meat i think about the dirty disease carrying animals and im not tempted anymmore. I eat whatever as long as it doesnt have meat. Like for breakfast i would have cereal or oatmeal or a bagel. Then for lunch i would have a grilled cheeses sandwich, veggie burger, or a salad. Then for lunch i would have some pasta or rice with stir fried veggies, maybe even a pizza if im feeling lazy. I know i hate when i go to a fast food joint and they dont have any veggie meals, usually i pick an italian place becuase i just ask for pasta withour the chicken parmesan, but sometimes i just go to a grocery store and pick up a fruit salad. I originally started to be a veggie because of lint but it was easier than i thought, now im used to it.
Became vegetarian at a really young age because I didn't like taste of meat, seafood, etc. I ate McDonald's hamburgers for awhile but I'm vegetarian again. I eat a lot of pasta, salads, pizza, etc.
nope i love meat way to much to be one!
God no, only gays and queers are vegetarians.
