Is fruit-tela .. sweet candies suitable for vegetarian .. they do have gelatin in it .. any idea??!

Question: is the gelatin artificial or is it manufactured using meat ...

Answers: is the gelatin artificial or is it manufactured using meat ...

there is no artificial kind of gelatin. There are substitutes such as seaweed based thickeners but if it is called gelatin, then that is what it is.

There has been recent information that some products advertised as vegetarian are in fact made of meat based gelatin and there is a big uproar going on in the community about it. So essentially there is some false advertising going on unfortunately.

edited to add:
gelatin is gelatin. It is not vegetarian, it is made from the skin of cattle, also know as cows, or beef.

I buy swedish fish or dried fruit. Both vegetarian.

gelatin is just gelatin, there's no artificial kind. It's not vegetarian.

a gelatin substitute is agar-agar or fructin
