How do I NOT become a vegetarian?!
- I was thinking of trying sea bass, my mom says it's white and flaky and mild.
Answers: I am 22. Since I was ten the only meat I ate was chicken. No fish, no red meat, not even turkey. Exclusively chicken. So now I am bored and I decided i want to expand my diet to include fish, nothing fancy just plain white fish. So, what type of fish do you think would be good for "starters" and what should I expect from the taste?

if anything, eat fish that is cooked RIGHT! any type of fish is good, i like salmon and mahimahi, sometimes tuna, but as i have gotten to a point where i AM becoming a vegaterian i would have to say as a former fish lover, cook it right or don't eat it, fish can be cooked many ways but it needs some moisture and spice, a merinade is always a plus, and there is a reason fish frys are popular, aside from lent, salmon fried with onion garlic and squash was my favorite way.
so basically try to cook it like you want to eat it, it can be good, but it can be horrid even if it was the best piece of fish at the store.
this was kind of an odd question for me to awnser, seeing how i used to love fish and am now giving it up, so basicly i am imparting fish knowedge before i forget it for good.
oh by the way, ignore all the negative posts about this being a bad question in the wrong section, i know a lot of vegaterian esqe people that eat fish it is a Semi-vegaterian diet, as is the kind that only eat chicken. but most people don't accept this as a vegaterian life style, which it really isn't, but neither is eating eggs really as it is an animal biproduct. it just gives people a higher sence of self to say "I don't eat meat and if you eat any you are less then me." as some people say "morality is sexy."
