I LOVE IT!
I love it too...it's so good and cheap too...I make it at home and go out for falafel too sometimes, I have my favorite places around the city. My husband introduced me to falafel...I think that's why I married him lol :)
I also make mine into patties....then I eat it as a sandwich, or with salad, or on a salad...I bring them camping...mmmm
i love them too. are you indian? paki??
im half and half.............both!
lol
I've never tried it, but me and my bestfriend love the word. It sounds soo funny! lmao.
yup its awesome :]
wait are they those little brown balls with chick peas ?
Yes.
I also love to say falafel.
haha falafel is such a funny word..
what is it anyways?
That is too high in cholesterol for me. I'll passed on it,
vegetarian meatballs they are.
Its gorgeous.....mmmm...and I'm no vegetarian either lol...
fudge yeah! they are one of my favorite foods.
Karate chef, falafel doesn't contain any cholesterol whatsoever, they are naturally vegan.
i love them in peta bread and yummy veggie home made dressing and veggies, - grilled eggplant and peppers. and tomatoes!
Ohh... I love fried falafel, soo much.
But if I make it at home,
I normally bake it.
love it
yes i love it
Yeah, I love them. My son too. I buy them deep frozen in the shop. I fry them and eat them with spaghetti and maybe tomato sauce and so on. I know they get even better with the common things like pita bread and kebab sauce and other things, but I'm a bit lazy I think, but soon I will buy all that stuff I think. Greetings from a vego from Sweden!??
I do I do!!
I love falafel!!
I like to fry them quick though. So they stay very moist in the center. I don't like dried out falafel. I like them most in pita with TONS of tahini and hummus.
I've only made them with chickpeas though. Not fava beans. Basically, canned chickpeas (canned is pressure cooked which is easier to digest), onion, garlic, parsley and some spices. Can't get enough Cumin and Coriander. Ground up in the blender.
I have to admit I'm also addicted to Trader Joe's white bean hummus. With fresh falafel? OOOOOOH!!!
YES. It's one of my addictions. I've been avoiding it because I'm eating better. I get falafel sandwiches.
Yes! I have a strange way of eating it though, I don't like to put it in a pita. So I eat it with a fork and knife smothered in tahini and yogurt dressing.
Here is the recipe for the dressing;
Scour you kitchen for;
3 tbsp yogurt
3tbsp tahini
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp salt
A little bit of lemon juice
Then you just mix everything together.
Heck yeah! There's a place not far from my home that sells just falafel and fries and has a top-your-own falafel bar. So I get falafel with Israeli salad (cucumbers and tomatoes), some turmeric-seasoned onions, tabouli if they have it available (they usually don't--sob), and some hummus. It's AWESOME!!! And the fries are really good, too.
I don't feel particularly healthy after I've eaten it because it is, after all, fried food. But it is a wonderful when I'm too lazy to cook.
Who doesn't? It's quite good, especially homemade.
I'm sorry for you allergies and food intolerance, although you can have that. Also you can change "curry" for "tumeric" it's pretty close, yet not the same. They are perfect when you receive, with yogurt, chickpea humus. You can bake them instead, this way you avoid any sort of oil.
Thanks.
i realy love falafel
I love Falafel! Esp with some nice lemon couscous.
I make it myself (or when I'm feeling lazy, theres a moroccan joint down the road who offer obscene portion sizes)
OMG. They are stunning. They aste so yummy, and when they are cold, omg heaven. There texture is really nice its kinda crumply and soft, yummie. They are so easy to make too.
