Those of you that have eaten raw potatoes; how do you rate the taste?!

Question: Good, i put alittle salt on them.

Answers: Good, i put alittle salt on them.

starchy

Its tolerable- some salt is better...

On a scale of 1-5 - I think they are a 3, unless you put salt on them then they are a 4.

Very crunchy potato taste. as the person above said, it needs a little salt.

I agree with the first answer! Lil salt mmmmmmm

thick and starchy, I prefer them cooked.

I need salt and find it a bit "earthy", but the texture and wetness of the potato is pleasing to the pallet.

They're nothing special, watery and starchy. You should eat sunchokes/Jerusalem artichokes...they're delicious!

phew....

its got that grany c ra p that sticks to your teeth, like mango

If I were a pig in a sty....than perhaps I wouldnt knock raw tatters but...

That was a common snack in our house as a child, no chips, candy, etc. Yes with a little salt.

delicious...they're kind of salty already, don't eat them if they are green tho'--then they are poisonous

I agree with one of the answers but would add something. Watery and starchy. Much better cooked.

i love potatoes. yum

could be worse.

Strange. Kinda like water chestnuts.

Still, ANYTHING is better than having it steamed.

They are icky.

When I was a kid I lived for a short time with my dad who was too lazy to cook. He would give us raw potatoes with salt and they were absolutely disgusting. Root vegetables should be cooked. They may be dangerous otherwise.

I like raw potato's especially if i take it right from the ground and wipe the dirt off on my pants. salt ruins the taste of everything. but a Baked tater and a thick steak make an excellent meal.
ayfr

1 to 10 i would say 4, it's not horrible but i don't especially like it

BTW it's not that bad if you put salt on it!
