Why don't people understand that sheepSKIN is SKIN?!

Question: I was having an intense argument back in the General-Beauty & Style with a bunch of spoiled, know it all 12 year olds. Why can't they grasp the concept that you need to skin a sheep to get sheepskin for uggs? I was thinking about posting this in the General-Beauty & Style but those 12 year olds might get violent.

but seriously look at this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

I know what you mean... it's really aggravating!

Someone should try to tell them what leather is.

Because thats how '12 year olds' are. And people that call others 'idiots' realy are no better. Say your peace, and leave knowing you are right, instead of having shouting matches over the internet with kids.

kids -_- haha

I think it's implied... I bought uggs specifically because they were real leather. There are some cheap knock offs that aren't real though

I'd give it up . What is so important about being right.

oh you think that's bad, try telling the people in the cooking section that their meat recipes are actually dead animals.

seriously, - the women and men in that section get so angry. they respond with, "I don't want to know about animals" - like they are do not make the connection.

They are so brainwashed, they all think their food drops out of the sky and is automatically placed in the food stores in pretty little packages!

I have my sheepskin slippers on now.

Edit
Dead animals?,

sheep skin IS what it is, it is sheep skin, they even go on about fleshing it "Fleshing - The skins are fleshed using a fleshing machine which removes excess fat and muscle tissue from the back of the skins"

if this was just wool they wouldn't have to remove fat and muscle tissue...

what the heck there was no "intense argument" . in fact there was no argument.
