I found an oatmeal cookie recipe that I want to try, however, the recipe calls for 1 egg?!

Question: and I want to substitute that egg with banana. My question is; how much banana does it take to replace 1 egg?

Thanks in advance!

no worries, it's easy all you have to do is replace it with one mesium sized banana or 1/2 a cup of applesacue :) bon'appetite! xoxoxox

ener-g egg replacer you can find at your local health store.

You can also you arrowroot starch(pricey but best result), other starches, or none at all (cookie would be a bit crumbly).

As far as the banana goes I suggest just putting in one whole banana. I've baked a lot recently and it doesn't matter too much if you are a little under or over a particular recipe. Sometimes it turns out as a pleasant surprise.

Im pretty sure 1 egg is 3 oz. So I would assume that you would need 3 oz of banana. I have never heard substituting banana... does it work?

use silken soft tofu, and you can find that in most food stores. - don't use the whole box, just a little. like 1.4cup!

idk but mabye try a cooking website and e-mail them. No affence but y would you want to substatute a bannana for an egg???

I know it's one banana to one egg for cakes, and I think it should be the same for cookies.
