Vegan Preteen?!
Answers: Hello,I have recently become a vegan, and I really have not eaten much because I do not know WHAT to eat,I know Vegans don't eat dairy or meat, but I am not sure what to eat.A little help would be greatly appreciated. No rude answers please.Thank you everyone :D
There are soooo many things you can eat as a vegan. You just need to learn how to prepare food. Buy some good vegan cook books. Or go to your local community library and borrow some. My fave cook book atm is "125 best vegan recipes" by Maxine Effenson. The net is also a great recipe resource. The options are endless, you just need to do a little research. Here are some meal suggestion:
Breakfast: fruit, raisin toast, oats with fruit and nuts, soy smoothies, soygurt, many cereals are vegan too.
Luch: salads, fruit, banana bread, home made vegan muffins, celery/carrot sticks with peanut butter, seeds, nuts, pasta (check the label though), grilled vegies, it all depends on whether your at home or school and access to kitchen.
Dinner: rice with vegeis, pita or lebanese bread full of salad and avocado, falafel, hummus, veggie soups, vegie burgers, salads, pasta.
You can make so much good food and practice makes perfect there will be recipes you luv and ones that dont go so well.

good luck =0)
Firstly you need to eat. Secondly, I suggest you start with vegetarian, do that for few months or year then go vegan. I am vegan, you need to work up to it.
Tell your parents, why you want ot be a vegetarian, show them facts. then ask them for help. There are many good vegetarian recipes online that your mom or dad can make for you and the family.
Plan your meals. + there are loads of faux meats, try them too. and most of this stuff you can find in your local food store. -
1) Breakfast: cereal, toast, bagel, fruit etcs.. - this covers your daily carbs, better to have carbs in the morning versus at night.
2) Mid morning: yogurt, apple, protein bar. this will give you energy
3) Lunch: veggie sandwich, grilled veggies, veggie soup with lots of beans - you'll get your proteins and with the veggies, get your "a,b,c,d,e" vitamins.
4) Dinner: big spinach salad, or a leafy green salad, with a main course veggie dish. the salad covers your iron and more protein, with great vitamins. - b12
The main course veggie dish, - you can basically have what you want as along as it not to heavey in crabs. like don't eat loads and loads of paste or bread. but a little is good!
