Yes, but you need to read up on how to properly feed yourself so you get all the necessary nutrients and stay healthy (or get healthier). Sometimes when teenagers become vegetarian they load up on junk food; just because it's "vegetarian" doesn't mean it's healthful. I just read a post by someone who had just become vegan and ate nothing but Fritos all day because she discovered they were vegan. What?!? Vegetarianism is about more than just not eating meat. Get a good cookbook or do some research online.

Talk to your doctor/dietitian before committing to a vegetarian diet.
NO and why should you? are you even mature enough to make rational, reasonable decisions? or do you just watch TV and assume everything you see is real? What would your reason be? is it worth it? I doubt it
Yes. The American Dietetic Association (one of the nation's leading nutrition experts) states: "Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence."

To have a healthy diet, simply eat enough calories for your body weight and include a variety of fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and grains. You can check out http://www.vegcooking.com/makingthetrans... for lots of food ideas and transition tips. Good luck!

It is definitely safe to be vegetarian, but make sure you have a variety of foods and not the same thing everyday.
Yes, it is safe to be a vegetarian at any age. As long as you make healthy eating choices, like eating lots of vegetables, fruits, protein, etc. you will be fine. But if you are concerned about your health, you should consult your doctor or a dietitian.
Yes, as long as you're healthy. I've known people who have been vegetarians since the day they were born.
yes it is. being veg has notin to do with being short n skinny. I'm 15 years old and i'm 180 lbs and 6"3
I believe it is safe for you, just make sure you get the protein you need from stuff like peanuts.
It's safer than eating meat. As long as you know how to get all of your protein and iron, you'll be great.
Of Course! Plenty of kids are born vegetarians and vegans.
And at your age, many kids start investigating more humane ways to eat and ways to be healthier.
Just make sure that you are eating a balanced diet and you'll be fine. Spend some time doing research on how to do it right and then make the change.

Well guess what?
I'm 13; I'm short; I'm skinny; I'm a vegetarian; I'm healthy. Go for it!
absolutely. I became a vegetarian when i was 11 years old and i turned out just fine :)
However it's important that your parents are aware of your choice, and are willing to support you. If it weren't for my mother and her willingness to cook and try new foods i wouldn't have been able to make it!
good luck!
