If I saw that as the name of a restaurant, that's exactly what I would do, "Steer Clear". Try "Where's the Beef".
okay I suck with name, but make the name have a environmental theme.
More people will come, with a an environmental elements, you want to be a successful vegetarian ingetting loads of people to come.

"Steer Clear" is a cutsie name but it has a negative feeling to me. Try to make a name that incorporates veggies into the title somehow, after all, vegetarianism is all about the positive aspect to life.
Sorry don't like Steer clear. I get it but it just doesn't sound appetising. You're telling your customers to stay away at the same time.

No. I understand if you don't want the name of your place to be blatant about its vegetarianism, but "Steer Clear" has too many negative connotations.
What sort of food are you serving? The name should reflect the type of food you're serving. If a particular ingredient figures in many of the dishes, you could name your restaurant after that. If you do lunch-type food, you could pick a name that implies fresh and wholesome.
Alliterative names are often easy to remember.
Or you could be very boring and use your location as a name--e.g., the 19th Street Cafe.
No cause why would you want people to Steer Clear of your resteraunt?
