Looking for a specific fake canned meat?!

Question: I know it sounds odd, but when I was younger I ate this canned FAKE meat in a gravy, then the store stopped making it I was once told seventh day adventists sell it. I know it's probably VERY unhealthy, but I'm pregnant and it's what I want! ha ha... anybody know what I'm talking about? Where can I find it? Thanks! :-)

I know exactly what you're talking about. It's called dinner cutlets and it's made by Loma Linda/Worthington foods. You can find them online at http://www.kelloggs.com/brand/worthingto... or you can go to an ABC (Adventist Book Center) store and they will have them.

Enjoy!!

Is it SPAM?!? Ewww....Weird cravings I'll say lol!

Do people even read or look at the section before answering? Sigh.

My grocery store carries a pretty good selection of those canned fake meats. I know there are cutlets, hot dogs, and a few other things. In my store, they are located near the Jewish Foods. I've seen them in virtually every grocery store I've been to - they were often the most readily available fake meats before Morningstar Farms and Boca came out with such good stuff. Ask your grocery store's customer service person, or even a semi-intelligent stock person if it sounds familiar.

I do ahve to warn you - read the labels well. The canned fake meats are LOADED with sodium. I don't want you to develop preeclampsia because of these things.
