Is it possible for a person to think it is wrong to kill an animal when they eat meat?!
Killing it for the meat, providing for your family, and not wasting it, is okay, as long as it's a animal raised for it's food. (cow, pig, chicken, etc.)
Making someone eat meat that don't believe in it is wrong. We all have choices.
Killing pets for meat is wrong; i.e.; dogs & cats (horses) are not meant to be killed for meat. They are meant to be pets.
Answers: If your are killing it just to kill it, then yeah, it's wrong.

I think that deep down, most everyone knows that it is wrong. For example, sometimes when i tell people that i don't eat meat, they say "oh yeah, I don't eat much meat" or something to that effect. People are just hesitant for change.
I can see a person that eats meat, being against hunting UNLESS it is for meat.
I do believe that if the area is overpopulated, hunting should be allowed. Better to be shot by a hunter, than freeze to death, starve to death. Much more humane.
yes, of course. some people then go on the become veg*n, others just igore their feelings and carry on eating dead animals.
I think that deep down every meat eater thinks its wrong to kill an animal and only eat meat because they like it, they dont realize how eating meat destroys the society, rights, and animals and there health and everything. there is over 101 reasons to be a vegetarian but 0 reasons to eat meat, so why eat it?
Sure.
i have been against it for a long time, but forced by my parents to eat it. and i have. i didnt liek it and i never will, i recently asked my mom about becoming a pescatarian and she agreed. i eat as less meat possible but i stil have to eat it, but not know! only dairy, eggs, and fish! my mother said yes because i put up a good argument and she culdnt go against this one. i thought it was wrong and had to eat meat for a LONG time, i think to long. but yes its entirely possible.
Yes
yes. I think So. I think it depends on why they are killing the animal. If they are just killing it out of spite I think it's wrong. If they are killing for food I say its right if they don't waste. or killing to put it out of it's misery. But I'm against killing for sport. unless it's rodents!
It is possible. More the manner of treatment and slaughter is a concern.
Of course, there are many people in the world who have morals that they don't live by.
I may catch flak for this, but I don't think it is wrong for predators to kill animals, and I consider myself a predator. However, the animal farming industry is unbelievably inhumane, filthy, and dehumanizing for its workers, so I choose to opt out.
I did work on a tiny local turkey farm the day before Thanksgiving this year, and it was a spiritual experience.
I think the way that corn and soybeans are farmed is also immoral and often filthy with chemicals, so I try to opt out of that system too.
To me, a diet based on mostly local veggies and grains with an occasional local bird for a special occasion is the most humane and moral. Just imagine the wild animals killed through habitat loss because of fossil fuels used to ship processed vegan foods across the country. After all, the farm I worked on is able to sustain itself partially through the turkeys, so it is not being sold for suburban sprawl or factory farming. The farmer keeps a lot of his land wild, and it supports a lot of wildlife.
Peace.
Yeah, of course... It's called guilt & gluttony!
They think it's wrong, but they'll do it anyway.
It is hypocritical but if you mean "Is it wrong to make an animal suffer?" then the answer, of cours ,is yes.
Apparently so. After I became a vegetarian, my mother would sometimes say she wished she could too, because she hated the idea of killing animals. Yet she's still not a vegetarian. I think some people agree that killing animals is wrong, but just lack the willpower to do anything about it.
No, thats completely hypocritical and avoiding responsiblity for your actions.
If you eat meat, you are responsible for thier death.
People should be honest with themselves.
Of course it is possible for people to think anything they want to think. Hitler thought it was ok to Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and anybody else that didn't fit his idea of the perfect race.As for whether or not it is OK, it is completly individiual and if you want to eat meat but are against cruelty to animals it is fine. People have very strong opinions. Base your opinions on evidence and what you feel is right.
Many people beleive that it is OK to eat animals, but don't want to cause unnecessary pain tot he animals. Many support huning for meat, but not solely for sport. You can eat meat, but refuse to buy from companies that are cruel to their animals. You might be able to buy meat from a local farm that you can tour (or even just drive by) to see that the animals have space and are being taken care of. Then there is also les pollution from shipping. This is true for vegetables too, but it's not possible for many parts of the world to live off of local farms.
There are plenty of reasons to become vegetarians and there are plenty of reasons no to. Do what you want, not what random people on the internet tell you is right.
