I don't know what is allowed and what isn't; although I assume as long as there is no meat involved it would be vegetarian.

But I like to simmer an uncut Portobella mushroom (the whole cap basically) and some small Shiitake mushrooms around it in a marinade made of melted butter and wine (my favorite to use is a blackberry merlot). I add diced tomatoes and jalepenos, various colors of green peppers (the green, red, gold, and orange peppers) and white and purple onions, all of them cut into slices. I also add some black pepper, cumin, sometimes oregano, and parsley flakes.

I add a side of white or brown rice, and maybe some seasoned mixed vegetables. On the side I have mozzarella slices or slices of lemon and lime with a small sugar bowl. These two (cheese or sugared lemon/lime slices) cut into the flavor of the mushrooms if they get too strong; which sometimes happens with all the spices.

I originally used this recipe for sirloin steak; but I adapted it to be used with the Portabella mushroom cap for vegetarians. It came out really good then, too.

Pretty much anything that someone else cooks and cleans up after.

I love making vegan pizza, from the cook book Vegan with a vengance. If you havent seen it check it out it has changed my life!

I have a George Foreman grill and it burned my steaks.

Not a big fan of egg plant, but a definite fan od Porterhouse Steak and Clams.

Favouite vegetarian dinner is probably veggie sausages, bought from a supermarket, covered in gravy(vegetarian of course!)

I love eating tofu and eggplant, soy and all that vegan stuff......my favorite is stuff with no meat (flesh) in it

Spinach Lasagna. Same recipe as regular lasagna, but no meat. I mix the ricotta and spinach. And use fresh tomatoes for layers and topping with the cheese.

Dal roti sabzi......etc....home cuisine

Pasta

salad with onions, pepper, basil, rosemary, cabbage and with a touch of olive oil
