Question: my husband has recently been told that he may have cancer and one of the things i have read is to decrese meat intake

  • tofu is an excellent meat alternative.
    if you marinade it in soy sauce and other spices before cooking, it provides an excellent flavour.
    make sure you get it as dry as possible before cooking by dabbing it with paper towels... this will make it crisper when you cook it and not so mushy.
    there is an excellent [and easy] recipe for tofu curry.... i don't have it with me, but i'm sure you could fin it in the net
    it involves cilantro, coconut milk, peppers, and other spices.... you make the paste in a food processor and then cook it up with tofu... its YUMMY!!

    I`m only supposed to eat meat twice per week.HAH!!! Like that`s going to happen. Hot cereals for breakfast, or danish,When having a sandwich use lettuce tomato mayo but no meat or a grilled cheese instead. It takes a lot of getting used to and like I said, I don`t practice what I preach.
