Apples are cheapest by the pound here, sometimes as low as 69 cents or so per pound for non-organic varieties. Grapefruit tends to be around 99 cents a pound, though sometimes there are sales, so prices are inconsistent. Oranges have actually been quite expensive lately and are not always in season and some stores even sell navel oranges for 99 cents each, just horrendous pricing.

Cook county in Illinois, USA.

why do u care?

Grapefruit here in Texas - 5# for $3.00

I think oranges are the cheapest here in California.

Probably apples, seeing as I live in the north east of the USA!! Lots of orchards in New England!

East Central Alabama - oranges are cheaper

In (west) australia, apples are definately cheapest. Usually around $1.99aus a kg (2 pounds)
