Is Becel margerine Vegetarian?!

Question: Is there animal products in it?

Answers: Is there animal products in it?

Vegetarian, yes. Vegan, no.

I feel for you. I do not stomach milk products well and they are in almost everything. Living in a big city is hard enough to find vegan friendly foods. I can only imagine the frustration you must deal with living in a small and backwards town that does not cater to free thinkers or freedoers.

The only animal product I could find in them is whey or whey protein concentrate which is suitable for vegetarians. So eat away!!

No, I think that it contains casein (I am almost positive that all their brands do).

The only margarine that I found that isn't "vegan" is Fleishmans (sp?).

Casein and whey are the ones to look out for, both dairy products and are in everything.

All Canadian Margarines have some dairy product in them whey powder, casein, buttermilk powder, I use the I cannot believe its butter light.

You can buy vegan friendly but as a fellow vegetarian I see not problem with any of our margarine product, we use canola, soya and corn oil here, some have palm oil but small amounts.
