It is fine to eat after 8pm, yes. Many people think that if you eat 3 hours or earlier before bed that you will lose weight. This may be true in some respects, but not the whole. When you eat 3 hours or more before bedtime, while you are asleep your body goes into starvation mode and eats up a lot of calories. But this may be even worse for you. It's never good to let your body to get into this situation, and in the long run, may be detrimental to weight loss because your metabolism will get lower and lower the more often you force your body into this "starvation mode" causing weight gain if done regularly. The best method is to eat when hungry. The best thing for your body is to eat several small meals a day rather than just two or three large meals with hunger in between.

doesnt matter. tyra show did a study to prove whether the myth of "if u eat late u gain more weight" is true or not and i think some other shows did it too but no it really doesnt matter when u eat as long as u dont get up and eat constantly...regardless of night or day....

there have been so many studies I don't know what to believe anymore.

there is no problem in eating after 8. however its best to eat 2-3 hours before u go to sleep so that ur body has time to digest all the food. otherwise u feel sluggish and end up getting fatter.
so its advisable to eat before 8

Well, it is impossible to answer this without knowing when you normally go to bed.

Are you refering to 8pm? It is ok if you eat the right foods! A bowl of cereal is fine! The sweetness will help with the sleep! Some say not to eat too close to the time you sleep.. and they are right if it is foods like beets, spinach, fruit those will keep you awake! But if you eat things like sweets, or chips then that will help you sleep.. still I suggest don't eat any closer than 2 hours before you hit the hay!

If you are hungry why not? But it doesn't have to be a big meal, just enough so you won't have a hard time resting or sleeping because you are hungry. (Eating too much will have the same effect, maybe worse). Then have a nice full breakfast
I often prepare and have dinner with the kids at 7:00-7:30pm.Then when wife gets home at around 11pm-12am, and has her dinner (she hates eating at the office) I have a bit of something again while keeping her company. Nothing much, maybe a fruit or a bite of what she's having, etc. Neither of us are overweight or unhealthy. In fact, it's the opposite.

eating after 8 is perfectly fine..but because u need to metabolise then burn off most of that or it will be turned into body fat i suggest you walk around alot after and go to bed at the earliest bout 11pm as this will give your body plenty of time to metabolise and burn the majority of the calories.

if you go to bed at 9 that not good but if you go to bed late that OK

you won't be moving much to urn off calories since you'll be sleeping so probally not such a good idea unless you work or don't sleep after 8 there it should be fine for you.
