You probably won't find anything that is specifically against all vegetarians that is reliable. You may be able to find sites advocating meat. Look up societies for beef, pork, and poultry producers. They all run ads every once and a while, so I would assume they'd have some pro-meat information. Talk to your teacher to make sure these are OK. Explain that while we do need proteins, people can replace them with a carefully planned diet without meat.

Here are a few tips for your paper. Sorry if you don't like them, obviously you don't have to use them. Be careful what pro-vegetarian sources you use as many of those are also seriously biased. People were designed to eat meat, anything that says otherwise is bogus. I would avoid talking about how sad it is for the whole paper. Try to keep pure opinion to a minimum. If you are pro-vegetarian for animal cruelty reasons, talk about specific practices, don't just say its sad.

You can find all sorts of biased, non-fact based info out there. Of course, it's all opinion or bs "facts", but that's the best you'll find.

The American Dietetic Association and the Dietitians of Canada both support vegetarian and vegan diets for all stages of life.

The only negative aspect of being vegetarian is dealing with obnoxious morons and their ignorant comments.

peta.org is all for

This may not be as helpful as you were hoping, but I have tried and failed to find anti-veg informative websites.

You may honestly do better asking this in a different section, too.

Edit: Check out the Atkins website. This diet focuses on high-protein/low-carb eating. Of course, any diet like that will have to focus on animal protein. Here is a link to the research section about protein from their website--hope it helps.

Wow! In high school, I had to write a argument paper, and I at first chose vegetarianism, but I couldn't find any articles against it (lazy omnivores not bothering to defend their choice).

I can't help you, but I wanted to tell you that I tried that. I changed my topic to something else, I can't remember. Good luck, and I'd like to know if you find any articles

Here are a few web sites that may assist.

Good luck!!!

Well I don't know of any downsides, but i'm sure there's a lot of sites that go on about the lack of b12, iron, growth problems, etc.. which are mostly myths.

I'll post a few that might be helpful to you.

Search for the ELF, peta, and other terrorist organizations that harass people, vandalize homes and sabotage workers (IE: loggers) equipment. There you will find everything you need to know about anti-vegetarianism.

People constantly asking me why I'm a vegetarian then making stupid comments..thats about it.

Well, you'll probably miss that nice "bloated" feeling you get after snarfing a bucket of fried chicken, or a big greasy cheeseburger, but the up side is not a whole lot of line-ups in healthy food places. Count on people not liking you as much because you're going to look a lot better than them, and feel better too...you'll probably lose a few pounds too, so the fatties will have a bone to pick with you too....and if nothing else, you can feel better than something didn't have to die to satisfy your taste buds. Your iron in your body goes down a lot. Sometimes to the point where you have to take pills in the place of them.
