Maybe you can start a club or group at college/school/uni. You can cook yummy vegan/veg recipes & get friends, family and work colleagues to try em.... when they taste how good your food is they could realise it's really not that difficult. Volunteer at animal shelters or with conservation groups, I know they aren't directly vegetarian but there will be lots of like minded people there who you can talk to and maybe even encourage to go veg. I can't think of any thing else right now... but I hope this helped.

You should start a vegetarian blog. I recently started a vegan blog. It is free and easy - and you can work on it as little or as much as you want. If someone asks you about being vegetarian you can give them the address to your blog and they can read your thoughts and opinions. Here is mine if you want to check it out:

help can come in many forms - what specifically are you looking to do? are you a campaigner? a supporter? do you want to spread the word against animal cruelty? educate people on the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle?
you could do many of these but get in touch with a few sites and see what areas you feel connected to.
some sites you may choose include:
peta.org
goveg.com
hope it helps.
Join a vegan meetup or a vegetarian meet up group in your area. If there isn't one, you could help organize one. From there you could gain members, brainstorm, and plan activities that the group would enjoy. In Santa Monica we actually do a video outreach at a popular outdoor shopping center! We usually meet up prior to that at one of the local vegan restaurants. You can decide if you want to be activists, and if so to what degree, and you can decide if you just want to host vegan potlucks at each other's houses and talk about recipes. You could do simple things like letter-writing, or supporting veg-friendly restaurants in you town. There are so many ways to help! And always put yourself out there as available and non-judging if you want to help people who want to become vegetarian. "Vegetarians are sprouting up everywhere!"
Blogging is the best. Also share yummy recipes on sites.
This site keeps vegetables info with nutritions values.
