Did you also restrict your calories for Lent? If you aren't eating enough food, that is probably why you're dizzy. Going without meat is not a fast. Being vegan is not a fast. Not eating food for long periods of time is a fast.

Eat more fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and nuts. Try to eat small meals every few hours, but if you can't do that, there are energy bars you can have. Taking a multivitamin might help.

And it might also help if you try to get more sleep.

Im sorry, wheres the fast? Im confused.

The milk and cheese should be fine as long as you're not lactose intolerant. I'd be more concerned about your fasting.

Dizziness is sometimes your sugar levels or dehydration? Eat some fruits, or have a glass of orange juice. Personally, I am not religious, and see no benefit, health wise or spiritually to a ridiculous"make believe event"! To each his own.

maybe you should just up your calorie intake a bit. eat more vegetables and drink more water. also, it wouldn't hurt to take some daily multivitamins.

Okay I've read the answers others have given you and apparently they aren't too familiar with Lent. During Lent you only eat three meals a day (meatless meals) and no after dinner snacks. It could be that you aren't getting enough calories at each meal. If you are drinking soy milk you might be allergic to it, but usually this manifests itself as a rash rather than dizziness. You can take a vitamin and also eat a little more at your three meals. The dizziness is probably a result in blood sugar dropping and protein in the form of cheese, soy, nuts; whatever can alleviate this symptom. Perhaps you can add a few nuts or cheese with your meal.

maybe you eat less ckal than previously? you are without meat for very short time, besides the meat doesnt content essential vitamins or minerals... Is there apossibility that you dont drink enought water this days? that can cause this symptoms too.

Just make sure you are eating a variety of foods, and maybe take some extra vitamins.
Drinkg a lot of water too, try eating some nuts or eggs to get protein

Fasting means you aren't eating any food. Of course it's not dangerous. You admit you aren't sleeping enough, you should look at that and what you ARE eating as the cause of your problems, not cutting out meat for a few days.
