Question: hair care brands that don't test on animals?
Thank you

Answers: hair care brands that don't test on animals?
Thank you

Companies like L'Oreal and Revlon say that they don't. Some of the "do test" lists still have them on, but when e-mailed, they say that they don't.

Neutrogena has a moratorium on animal testing, but said they wil reverse it if they feel like it.

Herbal Essences does not, but their parent company does.

Most "salon" brands available at beauty supply stores and salons do not. Just be sure to verify.

Aveda is another one that's safe.

Garden Botanika is great as well. http://www.gardenbotanika.com/ Awesome makeup and lotion, too.

go to or call a health food store(wild oats, whole foods)and ask them they should (if they have trained their staff)be able to tell you.

Some well known brands include Paul Mitchell, Nature's Gate, Aveda, Kiss My Face, etc.

J/A/S/O/N makes vegan shampoos, as does Nature's Gate. Lush is a wonderful company that does not test on animals, and most of their stuff is vegan. Aveda also does not test on animals, and they're vegan friendly, too.
