Help me (vegetarian)!!!!!?!
Answers: I'm turning into a vegetarian, and I don't know what I should do if my family makes simple meals such as mac n cheese or others that contain by products such as enzymes? Help! Thanks!
here is what you do:
1) find recipes that can have meat or no meat,
2) ask you mom if she can make the foods but put a side some for you, so you can eat your meal without the meat
3) ask your mom, if she can make a few more dishes that are vegetarian, it maybe even good for the whole family
4) help your mom cook, so she sees that your are grateful for her efforts.
5) work out your own levels nur. foods you need, like how much protein do you actually need, and try to eat more foods like that
6) fruits and vegetables are very easy to eat without a lot of cooking, so you can eat those more
7) eat more nuts - keep a bag with you, so if you are hungry you can have some!
do not eat meat just because its easy!

If you're vegetarian, all you really have to look out for is gelatin and rennet. Read the ingredients.
But I'm afraid quite soon you're going to have to learn to cook for yourself.
Congratulations and good luck!

Learn how to cook your own meals! Or keep meat substitute products like veggie burgers, fake chicken, etc. in the freezer. Of course, that's all processed crap loaded with sodium, but it's better than dead animals.
Some easy-to-make items:
-Pizza using pita bread as the crust & jarred pasta sauce, veggies, cheese
-Pasta (whole wheat!) with vegetables & olive oil
-Peanut butter and banana sandwich
-Stir fry (you can even buy frozen stir-fry vegetables already cut up)
-Tofu, seasoned and roasted
If you're a new vegetarian, maybe you should go to a nutritionist or you doctor to make sure you're getting essential vitamins and minerals. In the mean time, go to the library and get some books on the topic.
It sounds as if you are actually wanting to be vegan. You will need to make your choice and decision very clear to your family and hope they will respect it.
being a bit over dramtic are we?
Mac and cheese? Tell your mom who slaved making this "simple"meal to save some mac so you can have the pasta only without the cheese. being a vegetarian does not mean you have to give up common sense too..just meat and meat products..
stay calm just stay away from meat trust me im a veggie to
Heya it's buttie lol i know it's a funny name hehe
so you think you're becoming a vegetarian well there's nothing to worry about!! As long as you get a fair share of protien lol like fish and stuff :P and just tell your parents to make some vege food because you don't like eating meat.
I don't eat a lot of meat myself because I get put off it by all of the chewy bits hehe and i NEVER eat meat at school because it's SICK!!! lol :D but don't worry my mum's a vegetarian and she eats lots of fish and salad but that's not all you can eat, there's lots of variaty like this other option of meat (vege meat) which i LOVE to eat it's better than meat it's called corn or something like that (not corn on the cob lol) but anyway yes you have nothing to worry about! ^-^ and good luck with it!!!!

Ask your parents if you can make yourself something else, something simple, for dinner. Maybe just microwave yourself a potato, or something like that.
I'm a lone vegetarian in my family, and when they eat meat, thats what I do.
if you worry about rennet and gelatin, then you will be a vegan
